We don't need TE's(Jace) or WR's(Harrell) in our newly established running game. We are a juggernaut to be reckoned with!!!

Doesn't it point up the lack of good player evaluation by the current football staff? Can't we build a football program on the ashes of the DB era?

You mean maybe b/c at game five this year DB becomes irrelevant

Why is everyone saying he is gone at game 5 when he has a contract extension? Who is going to pull the plug? its not going to be Zenger as he has all of Girod's support. IT would have to be a major donor(s) who pulls the plug and withdraws support for a major project like the football stadium renovation.

It's mostly wishful thinking.

There's nothing that suggests Zenger is going to start being less of an incompetent boob to fire Beaty. The same can be said for Girod firing Zenger.

It is basically a belief that you can't ignore how bad we are and a change HAS to be made. It's all hopeful rumors and speculation of what will happen if we're bad again.

unfortunately with the contract extension like it or not we are stuck with Beaty for a couple more years. They should've never offered that extension.. I like Beaty as a person I do but with that contract if they fired him tomorrow were hamstrung for several years paying off that contract again

Beaty cancels press conferences as easily as he buttkicks Spring game at Kansas. I am starting to not appreciate his style of undercover football. Is he ashamed of what he has created?

If you wanted to game the system, you leave his ass here until January 1, 2019 and give him his walking papers to reduce the payout to $2M (rather than $3M before 2019), but I have a hard time seeing us keeping him if struggles again this year.

We're already dragging in last for P5 attendance. Another year like the previous ones and it's going to plummet even further.
Financially, firing Zenger and Beaty may actually be worthwhile.
