I'm no Goodman, and it was only an exhibition game, but X looked smooth, knowledgable, and skilled to me.

He'd probably argue that it's a meaningless exhibition game, not realizing the irony of that statement.

I thought he looked great, just as advertised. Aside from a couple hastily missed shots he looked about as good as anyone could have hoped. He went after the ball, made good decisions, maintained his intensity.

Goodman either needs to re-assess X, or re-assess his job.

he got a little impatient in the second half, but there is no denying the kid can shoot the ball.

A smoooooth, sweet shot.
He looked good with the "good guys", ragged with the frosh lineup. Figures.
He's a natural.
Really bummed CJ is hurt again and didn't get to play. I'm really looking forward to seeing him on the floor.

Hey Apps,

How about his free throws and the rest of the teams? I dont know anything official, but between X and the Twins, there sure was a good percentage made.

Here is that stat line. It doesn't look to bad other then the obvious.

Collins 19, Taylor 15, X. Henry 14, Aldrich 13, Markieff Morris 12, Marcus Morris 10, Johnson 9, Reed 7, Robinson 6, Juenemann 2.

KU was 32-for-60 from the floor (53 percent), 7-for-17 from three (41 percent) and 36-for-43 from the free-throw line (84 percent).

FHSU was 23-for-68 from the floor (34 percent), 10-for-26 from three (38 percent) and 12-for-19 from the free-throw line (63 percent).

KU out-rebounded FHSU, 47-34. KU had 18 turnovers; FHSU had 21.

The kid is super smooth but you can tell he was a little uncomfortable out there just like the other 2 freshmen. They'll take some time to adjust to the speed of D1 but all 3 look very promising.

X needs to improve (or get more comfortable) w/ his handles to take pressure off Collins and Cole...I've heard he's a pretty good slasher but he didn't display that tonight.

But like I said all 3 look very promising and should be great for the program...It's just halarious to see them adjust to the speed and skills of college players...they were trying lots of HS stuff that didn't work ....Oh well they'll learn!
