I guess we know Cole Aldrich will lead the team in rebounding and blocked shots. Sherron Collins will probably lead the team in scoring and assists. What about beyond these stats?

1st, 2nd and 3rd in scoring? (2009: Collins, Aldrich, Taylor)
2nd and 3rd in rebounding? (2009: McM, MkM)
2nd in blocked shots? (2009: MkM)
2nd in assists? (2009: TT)
1st in Assist/Turnover ratio? (2009: Morningstar)
Last and 2nd to last in A/T ratio? (2009: QT, Releford)
1st in steals? (2009: Morningstar)
1st in 3pt FG%? (2009: Morningstar)

Here are my guesses:

1st, 2nd and 3rd in scoring? Collins, Aldrich, McM
2nd and 3rd in rebounding? McM, Robinson
2nd in blocked shots? MkM
2nd in assists? TT
1st in assist/turnover ratio? Collins, 1st sem/Morningstar, 2nd sem
Last and 2nd to last in A/T ratio? Depends on who redshirts. I'll say Robinson and Relaford.
1st in steals? TT
1st in 3pt FG%? Reed, if he plays.

I haven't really read a whole lot on how X plays but from what I've gathered he was more of "to the rim" type of player. Is he a three point threat as well?

I actually have always been under the exact opposite impression from stuff I've read, I know he has a nice stroke (in that Winn article Self says he hopes X can hit 37%) so I hope he can really settle into his shot amd break 40%.

You honestly think thomas robinson is gonna be the 4th best rebounder on our team? with McM more than likely playing the 3 most of the time.

Im gonna wager X will be our leading 3 point shooter by percentage (Sherron might be our leading 3 point shooter by shots made), depends on if you have a minimum number of shots to qualify b/c Im gonna guess Xavier will take about 2-3x more shots than Tyrel will..

And you might wanna reconsidering putting a guy on there that many times (morningstar) who isnt even gonna be on the floor till after christmas.

If I was Brady I'd seriously think about redshirting this year.

That would be a real bummer for Brady to redshirt during BOTH of KU's national championship years.

BM + Withey + CJ cannot redshirt.

It's amazing to look at last year's # and realize that Marcus averaged almost 2x as many steals per 40 minutes (2.22 vs 1.4 for Brady) as anyone else on the team, and was only 7 behind the total steals leader.

And he didn't even (really) play until december.

I think you misunderstood my post. The first set of questions gave 2009 (last year's) results. I then gave my predictions.

That's why Robinson isn't listed in the top 3 rebounders, and Morningstar shows up a lot.

I thought about putting Xavier in that last spot, but Self said he hopes Xavier's a 36-37% guy. That won't lead this team. Could be the classic Self undersell though.

yeah from my understanding x is good at getting his own perimeter shot, not necessarily being an efficient spot up shooter

although that could be his role this year who knows
