I was given Sick Puppy by my father; I was not familiar with Hiaasen before that. You've read Sick Puppy then?
I am only into Chapter Six but I like his style.

Where's shades? He shouuld not miss out on a little book review action.

just looked on his web site. i haven't read the last 3. but ALL the others are good. they are extremely easy reads and all are very funny. if you get into hiassen you should read tim dorsey also. dorsey's are a series so you may want to start with the first one. dorsey is a lot like a profane hiassen and also bases his books in south florida. plus, the main character/good guy is a serial killer. i would say that dorsey is quite a bit funnier than hiassen.

Sadly, the grave is untended and the jumbles of wilted flowers are strewn about like so many broken dreams.

DC would refer to the jumbles of wilted flowers as the Law of Untended Consequences.

I have. $100 bucks on the KYLottery today at lunch on a $10 scratch off. Once a week, an employee and myself get a couple of tickets and split the winnings, if there are any. Mosty there are none, but as a great poet once said, "today was a good day".

Its not a matter of how much I win. I do it for the kids. Government says the money raised goes to education and what not.

Ahhh, Ice Cube. Truly a great poet.

Today I didn't even have to use my A.K. I got to say it was a good day

The shame of potentially having his creepy PMs aired in public was too much for him.

Nice tie, KinKY.
