The first drive looked so bad because Vermeil/Saunders didn't call a run play.

what was the fair catch & free kick they were talking about?

is it that a half can not end on a fair catch so then dallas would have had a chance to kick a 60+ yd field goal?

Well, the Chefs piss another winnable game away. This one is on the defense, which couldn't stop my grandma today. Tynes should have made the FG to send it to OT, but it never should have gotten to that point in the first place. Kiss that wild card goodbye, fellas.

The holding had no bearing on the play, what a terrible call. I can't believe referees would, in effect, end a team's season with a call like that.

Not to mention they missed holding on the offensive line in the same play.

The only question left is who will be hired to replace Vermeil after he quits in a few weeks. Based on past experience, my money is on Gameball Terry Allen.

If I had to guess, I would say Herm Edwards.

My pick would be Charlie Weis(sp), but I know there's absolutely no chance of us getting him.

Thanks L.Tynes for missing that kick...my Cowboys needed this one. I will be rooting for the Chefs against the giants next week since stinking Philly let me down and let Eli off the hook today.

I'll be rooting for them to beat NY also. I'm not ignorant like my family when it comes to the the playoff picture. Was watching the Denver/Cowboys game with my family of Chef fans and they was all rooting against Dallas to win. They just couldn't comprehend what I was talking about when I told them they should be rooting for Denver to loose. Aww well, I bet they was wishing my Cowboys would of won on Thanksgiving after yesterday's game, lol. <img src="http://boards.kusports.com/ubb/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Too bad it's all meaningless now. If they just would have pulled their heads out three or four games ago, this might have had a chance of being a decent season.

not that the Lions will win sunday vs. Pittsburg, but the Chiefs need Pitt. to lose and San Diego to lose as well.

San Diego hosts Denver and Pitt. hosts Detroit.

My point here is think the Broncos would throw the game just to make sure that KC has no chance to get into the playoffs?

I wouldn't put it past Rat Shanahan. He's pure evil. But Detroit ain't beating Pittsburg anyway, and even if the Chefs made the playoffs, they'd lose in the Wildcard game anyway. Missing the playoffs will hopefully prompt Petersen's firing so this franchise can get back on track.

Kansas City won games because of the offense. The lack of playoff production is on the defense.

What happened this year?

Defense looked pretty good against Cincy, Broncos and San Diego.

What are the broncos doing in the AFC championship game before the Chiefs again?

John Elway and T.D. don't play for them anymore.
