... the defending American League Champion Tampa Bay Rays!

I'll be out at the ballpark tonight, decked out in Rays gear and a cowbell.

I'm hoping to get out there Sunday, too ... with the whole family.

It's freaking gorgeous weather ... mid-70s, slight breeze from the west(?)

Tonight they have a Hall of Fame deal tonight, which when they made the schedule, I'm sure the Rays seemed like a good choice - but now they're decent.

A game at 4.30 followed by the Rays/Royals at 7 pm

Sunday they're giving gloves away to kids 14 and under(?)

I don't care how many World Series they are in, no one wants to see a Tampa Bay team play.

Especially the Royals...blew another late lead....how many errors can Olivio have in a season....guess I must start following the Braves again...at least they have made it back to .500 ball.....

Set new record lows the last two nights. suposed to be 55 tonight! In mid july! nuts
56 last night broke the old record for that day of 58 in 1984.
I was born in fall of '84, so i can definitively say this is the first time i've seen weather like this in my life!

too bad the weather can't contain cruz's suck. nights like these are why i find it hard to justify supporting this team financially in any way.

If I were a Royals fan, I'd be mad as Hell ...

Poor fundamentals, especially in the Friday night loss, Gordon was pretty much responsible for those two early runs.

I was at a company picnic on Saturday and only got scoring updates, but I heard there was another knucklehead play ... and of course, Cruz was brought back out and promptly screwed the pooch - again!

It all starts at the top, with a winning attitude and a positive locker room/club house culture.

Hell, take Lew Perkins for example ... with "swagger"

As long as David Glass is the owner, there's absolutely no hope for the Royals ...
zip, zero, nada.

What does David Glass have to do with this years mess? Payroll is not an issue.
