Hard times make for some really good deals out there.

If you have ever thought about a boat or a camper, right now people are giving stuff away.

1962 Chris Craft 35 footer $15,000 What a STEAL!

One of my good friends restores vessels like that in your area. Big time.

I've always heard that boat owners love two days: the day they buy the boat and the day they sell it.

That's what I've heard too.

That's why, around here, boat clubs are really popular. Call them up and they get boat ready. Arrive at the marina, jump in and go. When you're done, just hand them the keys.

No clean up. No storage. No maintenance.

Of course, boat clubs aren't cheap either......

Nada goes back to 1970 and lists it at $42,000 give or take 10k based on condition.

That's just a saying by people that shouldn't own a boat in the first place!!

I prefer to let my friends by the boats and invite me along.

I love other people's boats. Too expensive for me to afford. The costs for mooring and dry dock (where applicable) are quite high, not to mention upkeep, insurance etc. Friends of mine that had a sail boat used to lease it out via the boat club to help absorb some of the costs and even then it was expensive.
