I was sitting front row in the north side student section tonight and all I can say I was nothing but impressed. During the whole game the students were on their feet and cheering and when the game was nearing the end and became close, the whole place was rocking. Not only were the students standing and cheering but the Blue-haired crowd were joining in too. I've been to many Men's BBall games (30+) and tonight was just as loud as many of them... Obviously not the texas or mizzou type games.

I was utterly impressed with the turnout and can only hope for more to join me on Saturday at 1 against the USF Lady Bulls.

ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK!!!!

Now, we just need the audience to attend regardless of the ticket prices ($10 and $8).

KU students still get in for free.

I'm sure with the 3 days we have until the gane Lew will pull something out his sleeve. It was great tonight to see Sherron and the rest of the team there.

Can I just add ...

the North student section was rockin'!

It literally brought tears to my eyes to see this kind of energy and enthusiasm at a women's game.

At last, at last!

BS on the students Neiterh end was full. The end with the bands on either side was mostly grade school kids.

The north side was full of enthusiastic students... Trust me... i was sitting front row there... Let me just say that the enthusiasm and energy the student section brought was that close to a men's basketball game. It was impressive for a women's game. Just think some schools don't even get this kind of showing for Men's Bball, case in point missery or KSUck. We should be proud and not bashing on the so called lack of turnout.

I think there are a few reserved seats, probably the lowest sections, but everything else is GA.

When you take out the corporate seats and put fans down by the court who are there because they're excited about watching the team it makes a big difference. Definitely not as loud as the premier men's games, but it was a better atmosphere than a number of the non-con games.
