Now I'm just listening to the game but it sounds like a bad called game.

I'm beginning to think the officiating is more about keeping games close than calling what actually happened.

I think the officiating has been consistent, consistently for the home team.

Not really.

When Morningstar fouls out, you see the pattern. The officials were really on the KU guards today. The difference is KU kept its poise. The calls didn't exactly even out, but KU made the most of its trips down court. This was one of the best 30-minutes of basketball Kansas has played in a long time--really winning by about 26-points over that span.

I think it was pretty bad for both sides. Seemed like KU was called for a lot in the first half and KSU got away with plenty, then the refs tried to even it out later.

Go check the box score now that the game is over...

wait 5 minutes...

Check the box score again.

The foul count will go up. The refs are still ringing people up as they drive to Topeka. Mancrappy doesn't have an airport that can handle more than cropdusters.

Not sure I would say that but what I dont like about college basketball is that they allow too much banging inside and call touch fouls out front!

We made more FTs than they attempted!

+1

Honestly I don't think it was that bad today. It was very bad at Missouri, but today I didn't have a big problem with it. They do have to figure out what they are going to do on the elbows. The offensive player should be allowed some personal space.

I thought KSU got away with tons of grabs, I was really only angry about Morningstar and Reed's elbow fouls. On the "T", Morningstar was grabbed by the throat and they rang him up. The technical was pretty stupid after that.

The jump balls were pretty vicious too. But Kansas doesn't need a lot of calls to win--they just need to play Self's game. This was a great win today over a much better team than MU.
