A) No one cares.

B) Only Dye, MacDougal, Howell, Berroa, and MAYBE Byrd/Suppan would be remotely identified with the Royals by the average fan.

Oh you mean the team that lost to the Marlins in 7 games? The team that consisted of:
Sandy Alomar
Jim Thome
Tony Fernandez
Matt Williams
Omar Vizquel
Brian Giles
Marquis Grissom
Manny Ramirez
David Justice
JULIO FRANCO

Yeah I was only 10 but this still pisses me off... Seriously look at that fricken roster

I was 11 and played that series on World Series Baseball for Sega Saturn dozens of times. Loved the Marlins back then; that was my little league team.

Yeah I'm still waiting for the Indians to make it to the WS and blow it again. They've done it enough times while I've been alive and last year was the year they would have won it.

The district I was in for little league was the fricken Expos

Holy sh*t you guys switched teams every year I'm guessing. Well my district just stayed the Expos every year from (1st to 4th grade).

Then you were on traveling teams similar to the teams that play in the LLWS.

After you outgrew that you just played 13-14 Teeners/15-16 Teeners, or Legion baseball

Yeah, that was 8-14 years old, but I didn't include 6 winter league teams and my traveling team (Rockies).

Winter leagues? Where the heck did you grow up at?
No winter ball leagues in South Dakota obviously
