One guy brought up the 2 out of bounds obvious wrong decisions. Love could have easily been called for body contact on his "blocks".

Probably need to wait for Gottlieb for anyone to call UCLA out on this last play.

I didn't get to see the game because I was driving home from Omaha but I heard that he got absolutely raped. When I heard that UCLA was down 10 in the 2nd half I just thought. How are the officials going to get them back into this one.

You thought right.
Some others have said this but it is true, this board almost as hot as after a loss.

I saw both those photos posted at a UCLA message board. They seem to acknowledge that this was a foul, except for a few hopeless homers who'd posted about the fact there was no foul, before the photos were put up.

That's saaaaaad. I know the refs don't want to decide the game with a whistle, but NOT blowing the whistle decides the game too, and if they won't do it, then the defense is apparently allowed to foul, provided it is the last possession of a close game. I looked, but don't see that in the rule books. Rules committee should convene and consider this "new " rule: if it is a foul, call it, even in the last 3 seconds of a game.

Firggin' UCLA gets all the calls...

UCLA is quickly becoming the "New Duke" or atleast Duke of the West Coast.

Wow....can we somehow send this to the NCAA??? UCLA's getting away with way too much. They've already lucked out with terrible PAC-10 officiating, now the NCAA's? Something's fishy.

I think the foul on the last play is a moot point.

How about the fact that Kevin Love should have fouled out of this game at least 3 times over.

Rush today got called for his fifth for an obviously perfectly clean block. I wasn't even overly irritated by it because I know that most of the time the ref will blow the whistle on blocks because they assume contact must have happened. We got called on ticky tack crap all day long and truth be known, most teams do.

Yet UCLA takes the court and Love gets to mug anyone that gets position on him under the rim. I was watching replays after every supposed "block" by Love and he fouled badly on just about every single friggin one of them. In one play he slapped the arms of three shooters before he picked up the ball himself, then the refs instantly blow the whistle on a reach-in.

A&M certainly had their chances to win this game. Hit some free throws and it would have been UCLA needing to foul them to get back in the game. But I have to admit, it would be hard to keep a lead when the other team is allowed to hack away at you as much as they like with no calls for a good 7 minutes of the game.

UCLA should be making the short trip back home tonight. Instead they are celebrating the fact that the refs helped them wage a furious comeback on the #5 team in the Big Twelve.

Pathetic.

Bring 'em on.
