We're flying down early Tuesday morning...sorry, brando.

I missed seeing you at today's game.

Still no article up on the site, either.

Morris said after the game that she was hoping it was only a sprain and she wouldn't miss anytime. Bonnie didn't seem as optomistic.

It was an interesting game to say the least. Boogaard started for the first time and didn't play very well at all. McCray played well, but the team struggled bigtime from the field and trailed 52-48 midway through the second half before a big run gave them the win.

You could tell that the nine day layoff had a little bit of an affect on them....and its becoming more and more apparent that Ivana Catic is the glue that keeps the team together. Shes very similar to Russell Robinson, in that she doesnt always have big stat lines, but the team falls apart when shes not on the floor.

LW33-

Sad to say, but I'm not buying into the Catic thing. She doesn't have the speed to keep up with the BU PG, let alone some of the competition she'll face in the Big XII. She does handle the offense well, but I think (barring a huge setback from yesterday) that Morris is a better fit at PG and seems to handle the ball and offense well. We need a quicker PG if this team is going to be successful in conference.

Kohn is clearly rushing her shot and Smith isn't looking for hers near enough. I'll agree with you that Boogaard was horrible yesterday and missed way too many bunnies at the rim. She's got a bad case of the "flops", too.

Took my daughter to her first WBB game at AFH. She latched on to McCray and McIntosh (the two Micks). Had a great time, and those two played great. Morris' injury ... I've seen a lot of ACLs in my day and that is exactly what this one looked like. Hope I'm wrong.

Boogaard struggled but you can tell she'll be a good player. She needs a few deep breaths around the basket, you know?
