You're always running into famous people. Either you're incredibly lucky or a terrible liar.

I've ran into a few people people this year..
1) Drew Gooden at Gibsons in Chicago 2) Tubby Smith at his hotel in Indy 3) Rudy T / ESPN Reporter at the Big 10 Tournament 4) Julian Wright - He goes to my high school and have seen him play several times this year
However, I do play basketball at hoops gym in Chicago and have played with Kendall Gill and Marcus Fizer in a pick up game and have watched but not played with Antoine Walker this year. I am best friends with his cousin Nigel Gill. Gill played with about 5 of us KS fans on our Saturday morning league and we talked smack in a friendly way to him even though he dunked on me twice.
I don't know if meeting anyone of the above should be considered lucky because none are superstars. Maybe if it was Michael Jordan or Magic Johnson that would be another thing but if you think i'm bragging about meeting a college coach, a descent nba player, and an overrated reporter than thats your perogative. Frankly, having season bulls, cubs and bears tickets, and going to the first and second round of the NCAA tournament for the past 15 years, I have seen a lot more people than that but if you want to critique my "stories" i'll refrain from giving you any information. Sorry, I live in a sports mecca of a city and people actually come here to watch more than bball.

I don't know how I left you off me "best of" list. I should be ashamed. Had a tee time set for 3:20 today, but Brett Favre cancelled due to the rain.

Ashley Judd told me Tubby Smith was a real nice guy. Ofcourse she always talks too much after a roll in the hay.
That's bad, I'm just piling on now.

I have also met a decent number of sports and regular celebs, probably a ton considering have lived in SD most of my life. Anyway, the biggest sports jerk I've ever met was former Notre Dumb coach Bob Davie. Nicest is easy, though there have been a few. He's a guy I am proud to call a friend and some of you old-timers might know of him. His name is "Doc" Edwards. He played catcher for the Yankees for a short time when Maris and company were there. He later played for and managed the Cleveland Indians. He's been in baseball his whole life. He was one of the main guys who scouted and built the D-Backs when they started. He left the year they won it all <img src="http://boards.kusports.com/ubb/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />. Just a top notch guy.
