An article lists the 10 worst Power Five football teams for the past 10 years. Here's the list from the worst on up to the 10th worst:

1. Indiana - 2011
2. Purdue - 2013
3. Kansas - 2017
4. Oregon - 2017
5. Arkansas - 2018
6. Kentucky - 2013
7. Kansas - 2012
. . Rutgers - 2019
8. Ole Miss - 2011
9. Kentucky - 2012
10. Illinois - 2010

Kansas and Kentucky appear twice and there is a tie for # 7 with Kansas and Rutgers. It's nice that we were only listed twice instead of all 10 years. We even have some fairly decent company. And we weren't listed as the worst! Here's the web site in case you want to read it.

Probably goes by strength of schedule, win/loss record of opponents, opponent rankings, etc. But 0-12 stinks no matter the ranking criteria.

With possible exception of Rutgers, every team but Kansas on that list has rebounded from the doldrums.Kansas has been setting club records for futility, records that might be national scale were it not for State's long term era of shame.

Though not great, it would appear that we aren't considered the worst for 2020. The following six rankings give us some idea of what others think about us for 2020. Outside of Sagarin with 257 schools, this is based on 130.

CBS . . .ESPN . Sagarin . Ed Feng . .S/P+ . . . 247
Rank . . . FPI . . .Rating . . . BSR . . . Rank . . .Rank
109 . . . . 104 . . . . 85 . . . . . .89 . . . . 100 . . . . 56

The bottom line is what happens or does not happen on the field is what counts. We can only wait and see. Maybe half filled or empty stadiums will be to our advantage, we are used to that.

Good for you to give us a source of information to read up on. I would have thought Kansas would be appearing more than twice.
