Who will start at the small forward spot. Moss brings the 3 point shot where Garrett brings defense and ability to drive the ball.

If your talking about tonight it will be Garrett. Self talked like Moss still isn't quite ready and he doesn't want to risk losing him for a longer time.

Moss played more than I thought he would. Looked pretty good for the most part. Garrett better on defense, Moss better on offense.

I really liked what I saw from Enaruna tonight.

Don't know about that..but Wilson broke his leg....take Lightfoot off redshirt..... injury redshirt Wilson..... actually an experienced Lightfoot might be beneficial.

Lightfoot redshirted with KU abundance of big men at center and power forward. KU has depth at the three.

Wilson could get a medical redshirt.

Garret is an every down guy. Moss is a shot in the arm off the bench. Really glad we have both, but in an either/or choice, there is no choice. Garret is one of our MVP guys.

I would call Garrett a glue guy. Don't think we've seen Moss at 100% yet. Could also see more 4 guards and 1 big. They were much more effective on offense with that configuration.

Isaiah Moss should start who has better 3 point shooting ability.

Too early to tell. Garrett looks to be shooting better than he had been, and it might be nice having the scoring punch off the bench in Moss. That said I want to see what a fully healthy Moss can do. He might be the clear choice to start.

A dependable scoring punch from range is something we need. No question about that. But having that at the expense of effective defense is not necessarily a viable exchange. The good thing is that we seem to have both in Garret and Moss. The most important thing is that we learn how to best utilize both to benefit our overall team performance.
I have long been one who believes being one of the five to take the floor at opening tip is very much an overrated symbol of status.
As a kind of snarky attempt at humor, I offer that Moss's big shooting performance vs Monmouth happened bring him in off the bench instead of him being in the starting five. So that lineup configuration seemed to work out just fine. smile

ETSU game tonight a prime example why you do not rely on 3 pt shooting for primary play. We shot about 7% from range, but still won the game thanks to overall FG% about 60 with strong performances from Dotson, Dok, Garret, and a nice spark late from Silvio.
ETSU shot the 3 at about 35% last I saw, but only about 39% overall.

Moss wasn't good last night and had some bad turnovers..we do need to start hitting from 3 land or teams will just double or triple up on Dok...lol the ETSU forward in the presser asked what do we feed Dok because he's was a beast in that game. That one hand slam over Rodriquez was particularly nice....
