I felt like the boys had a ton of positive energy on Friday night and that was the biggest reason we played so well. Players were enjoying themselves and you could tell they couldn't wait to get to the next play (guys were helping BC players up). When things weren't going our way early, they stayed upbeat and didn't allow their heads to drop. That is 100% culture. Kudos to our coaching staff. Lets hope we have a couple more nights like the one we got to enjoy Friday.

Agree! I was super impressed with the team's continually returning fire with fire, never quitting. That. Was. Awesome. On the road, no less.

Plus I didn't hate our road white uniforms.

"Let's hope we have a couple more nights like the one we got to enjoy Friday."

Can't say I expect more this year that turn out as well as this one did. But I know experiencing the elation of a big win does wonders toward feeding the desire, and building confidence, for a repeat.
RPO offense is exactly what all our skill players need in order to be at their best, Stanley in particular. As our guys settle in to the notion Les (and each of us fans) will have their back they'll give it all they've got. I wouldn't be surprised to see an uprising or two such as we saw to end last year happening again sometime during this season.

I think the game coming up against WVU might be KUs last best option for another win. If KU got to 3 and 9 and the other games were competitive I take that as a step forward. Maybe even try to steal one later on. Who knows.

Right now the biggest game is the next game. WVU might be the next best chance, but it is no gimme. I just want to see KU play hard this against WVU and see where things go from there.

You got it 52. I'm still jacked up from Friday night. I don't know how our guys will react on the field this week but that game was such a departure to what we've become accustomed to seeing I'm still riding that "positive energy" wave.

We had zero coaching last year but with Miles & Co Sky is the limit. Thinking big this year.
