I would like to know who told him he was draft worthy! Self better quit recruiting this kind of player. That kid never brought his "A game" all season long. If he has an "A game" he never showed it but a couple of times.

I would rather recruit 3 and 4 star players with some upside and watch them develop into NBA players. We miss on so many of our big time guys that its got to be a red flag for true 5 star players like Zion and others.

No way is he ready. Foul prone, questionable passing decisions, cant stay in front of people and then there is the shooting (finishing at the rim, breaking someone down and outside shooting).

One comment about the team this last season. Was this the least "athletic" below the rim team we have had in many years? When the redshirt came off of Ochai, he was the only one that seemed to be in that high flyer mold - and then hit the freshman wall a few games later. Vick was a crazy athlete but we all know how hit and miss that was - Dotson for his size was probably the best athlete this year.

Really scratching my head on all this.... now we are again picking up the "leftovers" to fill slots - and all of the potential issues that come with those players that are left (eligibility, behind the scenes nonsense,etc.)

Fear of KU being suspended must be the reason we cant pick up any top flight recruits...I am still hoping for Precious or Stanley..Also hope Dok stays....I mean why is he not saying anything. Someone stated we might be NIT bound if we dont pick up any top flight recruits. That wont ever happen to a Self coached KU team...NEVER.

There's this thing called the internet..... This has been well documented that Hampton may reclassify. I think he is already 18 so reclassifying would not be a stretch. KU is one of 3-4 teams rumored to be in good shape with him.
