NO, NO, NO on Brady Morningstar. Other than that I would like to see a mix of players. Some that are true one and dones as long as they fit in an provide impact. Give me a Josh Jackson, Embiid or Wiggins any day of the week and twice on Tuesday. Josh Selby and the like need not apply. Although it is sometimes hard to see which will be in the former group and which will be the latter. We all assumed Grimes would be the former. I bet Grimes stays for 3 years and ends up being pretty good. Then you want some players that stick around for a few years and then leave. Give me all the Chalmers and Rushes of the world. Lastly you want guys like Releford Reed and Kaun that stick around for 4 years. These are the glue guys and set the tone for the program.

Brandon would not have stayed if he hadn't got injured.

David McCormack and Silvio De Sousa will bring talked about winning a National Championship with a experience junior class and a one and done freshman.

David McCormack and Silvio De Sousa will be locks for first round NBA Draft picks with potential for both to be lottery picks.

next years starting lineup as of right now:

Dotson
Grimes
Ochai
Lightfizzle/KJ
Dok

Dok being about 60/40 to stay. I would put Dlawson at 90%+ gone and Grimes at .05% If we get Hurt he'll start at the 4.

If Braun packs on some muscle and is great in early season practices he may start over Grimes
And for some reason I thinks Grimes bails. He hardly looked happy on the court for old KU. My crystal ball predicts him bailing by transfering to Houston so he can be close to the Woodlands..

The kid from KC is supposed to be a shooter. As our roster currently stands we do not have a shooter.

If this kid can shoot he will get minutes next season.

he is from the BFE suburbs (BVNW). he won 3 state 6a titles in a row. He is about 160lbs at 6'5 from what it looks like. (they list him at 175 if that tells you anything)

Braun is taller than that..might be 6ft 7 by the time bootcamp starts. Wonder what ia 3 pt % was for last season. I watched a few games on Spectrum. Can handle the rock and shoot..not too great on defense.

Missing on Robinson Earl really pisses me off...been to many KU games courtside..many KU camps 100% ours through his junior season..jumps ship to a basket factory high school and commits to Nova. Why cant Bill close the deal on the local good recruits...

people said the same thing about ochai. He might be 6'7 but it doesn't matter as he is a guard that is not strong enough to play the 3 or fast enough for the 2. I think most likely he comes in as a shooter for a few minutes here or there. Like I said though anyone who wins like he did in high school i'm a fan of but its just hard to see him being ready in 8 months. stranger things have happened though.

Here is my instinct:

Dedric will go for the draft (2nd-rd), and KJ will follow because he has no other strong ties here. I wouldn't be shocked to see him re-transfer to Memphis! Silvio will also depart for a professional career, I don't see him winning his appeal.

Udoka is 50/50, his draft stock isn't high but I'm not sure he can raise it by staying another year. He's kind of a finished product by NBA standards, a fringe player in the modern league. I see him leaving too, unfortunately.

Optimistically, I think we will add Hurt and Achiuwa to our recruiting class. With the frontcourt departures listed above, we'll need them. Our depth chart would look like this:

DOTSON - Moore - McBride
GRIMES - Agbaji
GARRETT - Braun
HURT - Lightfoot
MCCORMACK - Achiuwa
