Attendance at the Rutgers game was 28,044 and attendance for the Oklahoma State game was 18,364 so it dropped by around 10,000.

What do you think attendance will be for the TCU game?

Does anyone know if the attendance data counts all tickets sold or just people that actually walk through the gate?

KU is on track to hit it's lowest average attendance per home game over the last 10 seasons. The KSU fans that attended the KU game in Lawrence last season bailed out the attendance numbers last year. Maybe the ISU fans will travel to Lawrence this season to bail out the attendance numbers again but I doubt it.

Why would ISU fans travel to a game that will likely be over in the first quarter and the weather prolly not all that great, when they can relax, eat popcorn and barbecue in the comfort of their own home or favorite watering hole and not have to spend $6 on a ticket

They may announce 12000 fans in attendance, but I figure the real number will be closer to 6 people

KU football attendance was 18,364 for Oklahoma State and 15,069 for TCU so it dropped by over 3,000. It should improve some for ISU since KU finally got a conference win. The season average is 21,446.

Last season home game attendance averaged 26,641.

Yeah I was at the game and it seemed less then that. A lot of students came late to join the celebration after the game.

Beaty told FS1 tv crew that no fan base works in his favor. Seems to be working.

I plan on supporting his point of view as it seems to be working.

Iowa State is bringing a ton of people I hear. Because of your win against TCU and our recent successes rumors have it that ISU will bring lots of fans. After all, as you down there have stated, we don't have professional teams so what else is there to do? LOL IB

No need for that.........there is PLENTY of places to park all around Old Memorial! The Clones might even provide enough fans to open a few more concession stands and give DB a half full house to show recruits.....on second thought, no way will the crowd be 25k! That would mean over 15k ISU fans! whistle

Kansas fans alone will total 35-40,000 strong to support coach Beaty and his new winning streak, and to send a message to Jeff Long: We have our guy! David Beaty is the head football coach at the University of Kansas and we're going to keep it that way.

Forever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever.....

You might be right Kirk, I mean DB has the Hawks rolling with a streak of one in a row!

In all seriousness though, Attendance is what will prove to be the final nail in DB's coffin. With KAI dipping into reserves and 40k empty seats at each home game, KU is losing nearly $10 million a season in lost ticket revenue.

Attendance for ISU increased by 474 people to 15,543 and the home game attendance average decreased to 20,265.

If the final home game against Texas averages around 15,000 then KU is on track to see a decrease in average attendance of over 7,000 people per game.
