Give Kendrick a nod. Feel bad for HC DB but he cannot win in the college ranks. His fourth iteration of a Beaty team is two weeks away. Hope he isn’t embarrassingly unemployed soon after. Let’s give a high schooler another chance.

I say that about Kendrick starting b/c, we need to start running this thing down opponents throats. The preseason could be saved for the High Schooler HC if he shows ANY type of onfield improvements or changes. Problem is, the guy can't decide who to start prior to gametime.

Beauty cannot recruit to beat the other coach, make a decision of who is his best player, or have an offense that scores. The defense is always had and you expect Beaty, a former Wide Receiver coach, to be responsible for success on the field.

Quite rhetorical this morning aren't you! laugh Actually, the only the thing the vast majority of Jayhawk grid fans "expect" Beaty to continue to do what he has always done...LOSE and LOSE BIG as he continually studies, but doesn't grasp the "ANALYTICS" he is so fond of.

I figure after 50 years of faithfully following the circus like atmosphere that is KU Football, I can wait another few weeks for the inevitable crash and burn. Then we can start the cycle all over again....hire a hard nosed HC, let him build the program to respectability, leave for greener pastures or get canned for some minor transgression that offends the snowflakes, hire another smooth talking moron, rinse and repeat.

HCDB not being able to name a starting qb is emblematic of his entire tenure here. This is not a Junior High team.... good riddance, it just never worked out here for him. He can go back to being a coordinator or a HS coach...

Agreed. If no choice is obvious by this point, its possible he's not wearing a Jayhawk uniform. Some day I hope we're talking about the competition for back-up QB because the starter is obvious. But not this year...again.
