No.

It does not matter. Because after LeGerry figures out he is destined for the Manitoba pro league next season, he will decide to come back for his senior season. I would rather have a senior LeGerry anyways.

The Manitoba pro league ain't as glamorous as it sounds.

We have done ok with the OAD's. It's the "less than OAD" that have been a disaster for us.

We should know by now to steer clear of the "less than OAD."

I hate these stupid showboating events. If you know where you're going to go, just say it. Skip all the hoopla. It reminds me of Baron Davis when he had all the drama around his "decision" and had a UCLA hat a KU hat and others on the table next to him. He dramatically threw all caps on the floor other that the UCLA hat... (eye-roll)

That being said, you can watch Romeo Langford's announcement here: smile
http://www.wdrb.com/story/38061225/watch-live-romeo-langford-makes-college-decision-at-new-albany
I think they stream it around 7pm tonight.

Yeah, per www.wdrb.com, he's going to Indiana...
No use watching the big unveiling ceremony that will stream in a couple minutes...

Screw him!! If he's dumb enough to think "Indiana" is a better choice than KANSAS, he's an idiot anyway. wink
He seemed a bit cocky and self absorbed anyway. This big dramatic announcement ceremony is evidence of that. He would've come in here only thinking about himself and getting to the NBA in a year. Probably wouldn't have been a good team player or unselfish.
Good luck getting exposure on national TV more than a couple times at "Indiana University". LOL! The last time they were any good for more than a year in a row was when Knight was their coach.
It's our luck that he chose the other school. Now, Self can focus on finding an unselfish kid to take the scholarship that will fit into our team better.

Good luck getting a top NBA pick next year after being buried in the TV blackout area of Indiana.
Meh!!!

(sour grapes much...? I know...) LOL! grin

Repetitive ranting is a known sign of senility. So take your Geritol..put on your double layered Depends and go to bed. Nothing is going to happen to old mighty KU..Cliff footage....how cute yet sad. I would ask how long it took to dig up that video. But your desperate pathetic dumb asss probably has that one and many similar in your downloaded files for easy access. I did not click on any of those links. But I assume the jist is "the fbi investigation played a role in langfords decision." Assuming that, sure it did. How could it not. I figured the fbi investigation is going to come with some ramifications to the program. I suspected it may hurt recruiting. But I did not anticipate that until maybe the class of 19 or 20 or 21. The justice system and the ncaa move very slowly. So I figured it will take 1, 2, 3 years for them to rule. I thought it would be a few years before the HS kids started to factor it in.

Langford will be in the nba before anything happens to us.

Jeezus, Gusher is right, you should drop already. One thing a lot of us who grew up i the 60's vowed we never wanted to be was "old", like the crabby ass old people we saw railing against the social changes that were coming. Some of us grew up and we have ben able to keep in mind that we were young once and that things change. Timmmaaaaay! is one of those old resistant to change people who hates young people because they are smarter and faster and adept at change in a world that finds him useless and with nothing to contribute. "American culture" is what we define it as today. It has never been stagnant, it has always changed for better and for worse but it is always evolving. You can either evolve and become part of it or get left behind and spend your last years grousing about "kids today". Pathetic sad little old dum dum. Now git yer ass over to Tiggerboard and lick some slaver boots, you old rascal you.

Mission not accomplished. 95% of the baby boomers grew up to be exactly what they said they weren't going to be. Some worse. the other 5% are still stuck in the 60's.

If the 1967 you could see the 2018 you, you would be ashamed.

The 7 years old me had no idea what was coming his way. "Shame"? That's for people who get their self esteem or value from the opinions of others. No thanks, that's a pretty limiting way to live. Kinda like Romeo's dad worrying about whether or not people would talk about his son getting money from Adidas if he came to Kansas. Who cares? People may also talk about his kid underachieving if he never plays in an NCAA tourney game.

My guess is that you'd be hard-pressed to find:

Back to the OP if there was one in here somewhere, we got the better all around player in Grimes. Also leaves room for Vick to come back if he so chooses.

And if Romeo's dad was more worried about tim tim thinking he took money than he was about winning basketball games and gaining basketball skills then he is a bigger poosy than DC. But still not as much of a dum dum as tim tim.

his dad seemed more worried about guilt by association than anything else. thus, the youngster signed with indiana, which made complete sense on more than that level alone. it's his basketball-tradition-rich home state university after all.

Parkhawk is correct on multiple points. Starting with me being right. Also on his description of Timmay and might as well throw Michhawk in the mix. Park is probably the most intelligent poster on this forum. Unable to adapt is a perfect depiction of Timmay and Michhawk. Jealousy of millenials is due to them being unable to think outside if the conformity box. They are miserable from working boring jobs they hate just because they were told thats just the way it is from their fore fathers. Original thought is lacking in those 2 idiots. Park however sees things clearly...bravo sir...bravo.

We were always a long shot to get the kid. We were a long shot before we got ourselves on the fbi watch list. We were a long shot after. Not sure why we were surprised or shocked or angry when the kid picked indiana. He was always going to pick indiana.

Every school not named indiana was a long shot.

KSU, however, was NOT one of the other "schools" who had a long shot. Their chances were always 0.00000000000000000001. Does that mean they had a chance? Nope.

As a KU fan, I didn't use a second hating on Homeo.
