Yep, I agree, but I think it's more about him being forced to make a split second decision without time to go through all of his reads in a real game time situation than it is about the contact from being hit. Yeah, the contact being brought by the DE running full speed at you in a real game forces that split second decision, but I don't think he's afraid of the contact like Christ appeared to be for example. His decision making ability appears to deteriorate exponentially in that situation more than your average QB.

I agree, Bender is a tough kid, but not mobile at all and he's not afraid of getting hit. Tom Brady would fail behind what we have on the front!

Cancelling the spring game showcase of new talent, etc., is a mistake that Beaty made showing no confidence in the roster he has created over the last three years. Girod has given him a mandate in order not to be a lameduck to actually perform as a qualified HC. Without Sugar Daddy Bucks AD, let's see what he has been preparing for the 2018 fanbase.

You mean, hold a coach accountable? That's a novel concept.

It will be interesting to see if they hire the new AD before the season begins. If so there is still time to hire a new coach.

They will hire the new AD in a week or two. As a matter of fact, odds are they had him potentially signed before we fired Zenger.

I like quick action and actually I would like to see the AD pick up his coach immediately as well.

Agree. Having Jennings already lined up on the "search" tells me this plan was in place for some weeks. Likely came to a head with the dismal grid season ticket sales. Beaty has to know he's next....I just wonder if he has any guilt over being the cause of Zenger's demise! Though Z should have been fired for giving DB all the Grid Search Committee questions prior to his interview.

You are a band wagoner that is all happy but my opinion carries more weight.
