Yahoo Sports did a study going back 14 years on foul/free throw disparity in games played in the Fieldhouse, compared to home court advantages of other schools.

We are also in the lead in the great majority of our games. It's natural that the other team would try to foul us late in the games to try to catch up. That doesn't appear to be taken into account.

We also have Udoka who draws fouls fairly regularly because he shoots FTs poorly.

Actually, it is taken into account.

What I can't stand about this article being written now is the fact that human nature is to now pay closer attention to KU on the floor for the rest of the season. Success=jeolousy. Simple.

If other Big 12 schools would recruit better, coach better and quite frankly worry about playing the game better, they might get more calls. Cry baby league. The Big 12 has for the most part always been the Cry baby conference.

So what I am reading says to me that Big 12 coaches, current and former, are blaming officiating for winning 13 straight titles. Sorry, if SElf would have coached Durant and other Texas players thru the years, we would have more than 1 NC hangin in the rafters since 2004.

You can't reconfigure game situations on paper. You can't do enough research to confirm when and how these calls were made. We win a bunch of games each season at home. We win alot of those games by double digits or have double digit leads for the majority of those games.

I remember watching Duke in the 90's and early 2000's and thinking that they always got all the calls in any situation. They usually made more FT's than their opponnets even shot on most nights. Sing me a river.
