Jeremy Springer from aTm.

Will be curious to see what happens to DeForest with this addition.

DeForest will be girdled and cut down along with Beaty and the rest after we lose to Nichol's State in the opener.

Slant has Yenser and DeForest not returning. It will be interesting to see who we pick up.

Yenser did a good job of getting bigger bodies for the OL, but they are still subpar in terms of execution. Good guy.

DeForest's units really struggled in coverage and the return game. Longest kick return maybe made it to the opposing 40 or somewhere along those lines.

I think it is funny that Beaty can go through assistant coaches like I go through underwear, but when talk comes up of letting him go it is crazy talk and he has not been given enough time.

Come on coach Beaty WHO ARE YOU CRAPPIN?!?!

Yeah, it was pretty easy to see that Meacham and Yenser didn't get along well. It likely didn't help that we got rid of Yenser's buddy Likens either.

KU Football tweeted that Justin Johnson was also promoted from within. He was an offense analyst previously.

As long as it’s a nobody well known, the Johnson position hiring by Beaty is AOK. Not a good look for the HC.

We needed improvement on OL and ST so these changes are necessary. Who can Beaty get to replace Yenser for OL when Beaty is #1 on the HC firing hot seat? Maybe Meacham can help Beaty find a good OL coach.

Will Beaty keep his ride or die Bowen? Or is Beaty waiting until after the family vacation to deliver the bad news?

Wishful thinking would be we overpay Warinner to come back to coach OL. He's at $375k to coach OL at Minnesota. Yenser was at $250k-ish.

Gotta guess that Juice and Springer don't make nearly as much as DeForest and Yenser, so we should have a bit to spend on OL.

Bowen has a guaranteed contract for two more years. I doubt he's going anywhere.

Slant reporting that Jeremy Springer deal isn't done, and the search for a special teams coordinator is ongoing.

Jeff Jordan, our director of player personnel, is headed to SMU to do the same position.

I don't spend my time on ships with rats, so I have no idea.

Based on Slant's recent movement, seems like Brian Knorr may have interviewed for the special teams spot.

JB Grimes, AJ Ricker, Robert McFarland looked at for the OL Coach.
