Beaty will get one win, Nicholls State. I predict he will be fired after a Baylor loss.

I have no idea how many games KU will win or how many are needed for DB to come back in 2019. But just for the fun of it, say the Jayhawks win 5 games. That does not qualify for a bowl appearance, does not make for a winner, and does not instill tremendous hope for being a big winner the near future (like what ISU did this past season). It would show progress and definitely some potential. HOWEVER, I think it would make for a very difficult decision and or situation, especially for fans that want to see more than just a competitive program that wins just enough to go bowling some of the time (meaning perhaps 4 to 7 wins @season).

If KU wins 1 or 2 games in 20018, the answer would be rather clear cut. But if KU wins 4 or 5 games, what do fans want to see the puppet masters do for 2019? Keep in mind, numerous fans especially here on the board have said there is no confidence in HCDB and he will not be a consistent or big winner. What do ya do if the Hawks win 5?

Maybe, but I still wonder if the Jayhawk Nation would be satisfied or confident in HCBD then? After all, this will be season number 4, and there should be more upper classmen and almost totally DB's players. It just presents an interesting circumstance.

I would be thrilled with five wins. That said, it would be a monumental turn around no reasonable person could conceive based on our 2017 performance. I do not believe we have the talent at QB or along the offensive line to win 5 games and that doesn’t even take in to account the coaching to date of this regime.

5 wins in year four for Beaty would no doubt satisfy the fanbase (including this poster). That said, track has made my post pointless simply regurgitating what he said.

First of all, I am really stoked about Miles Kendrick. This kid can run, and man can this guy spin the ball. I think he is the best looking QB since Reesing. Go watch his film - all the kid has done is win, at what ever level.

That said, here is my percentage probability of win/loss assuming MK is everything I think he can be:

NICHOLAS STATE - 90% chance of win.
AT CENTRAL MICHIGAN 85% win
RUTGERS - 65% win
BAYLOR - 55% win
OKLAHOMA STATE - 50%
WEST VIRGINIA - 35% win
TEXAS TECH - 70% win
TCU - 25% win
IOWA STATE - 40% win
KANSAS STATE - 40% win
OKLAHOMA - 25% win
TEXAS - 20% win

So I see a good chance of 5 wins, with 2-3 in the bag and clear progress.

Yard Bob is basing the QB playing Reesing -like off six Juco starts total.

Reesing was TX 4A player of the year as a junior in HS. The Juco is not Reesing. Zero other offers.

KUCO, did you actually watch the kids Hudl? Total stud. Reminds me of a kid OB at K-State would go after. But he missed this one. Same height as Reesing, but faster. Throws as well too. Just the QB at the right time.

Not that your post has any value to it, but it's interesting that you give us a better chance to win @TTU, @WVU, @KSU, and @Baylor than at home versus Rutgers. You also give us a better chance of beating TCU, Texas, and Iowa State than Rutgers.

OOC FBS teams(or heck, even most FCS teams) we have little to no chance of winning, home or away, with the current regime. History has proven that., LAst FBS P5 team we played was Rutgers(Loss, BTW). Last one before that was Duke(Blowout Loss BTW). So yes, I think those numbers are accurate.

dgless- posts have value. Condescending twit.

After a lot of early chaos the % may be better in conference play. I recall it happening for the Beaty Beatings era.
