How many games would this team win during a single season, if they all stayed healthy?:

STARTING:
Joel Embiid
Marcus Morris
Andrew Wiggins
Kelly Oubre
Mario Chalmers

OFF THE BENCH:
Markieff Morris
Josh Jackson
Ben McLemore
Frank Mason

Reason to like the one and done. Without that we would not see these special players in college at all.

Hey BlueBlood, better check things out better. Not all these players were one and done.

I realize that, but the cream of the crop definitely were.

I would much rather they just let those children that want to, go straight out of high school. Half the children on that list left no lasting impression on me as a fan.

I think they are retired. Last I saw on Gooden was 15/16 after a long career.

I get all these players wanting paid. At the back end of contracts, say 3 years like sophomore, junior, and senior, these guys like a Embiid can possibly earn 40 million a year by then. A lot of incentive to get that 2nd contract and beyond as fast as possible. Wiggins and Embiid have the max already signed and ready for next year.

Morris brothers have done far better apart from each other on teams. They should have fired their agent who screwed then royally. 5 mil a season for Marcus and 8 for Markieff. Great money for us, but very underpaid for 4 years. Markieff should have gotten 15-18 per year, Marcus 10-12.

The nine guys in my post above are averaging a combined 109.0 points in 226.2 combined minutes per game. I know one cannot necessarily extrapolate that they would score the same while playing together, but that is 115.6 points per 240 minutes (the total player minutes per game in the NBA). And there are some good defensive players on that list.

I think that this all-Jayhawk team would be better than most current NBA rosters. Even more so in the future, as Embiid, Wiggins, Oubre, Jackson, and Mason likely will be improving for some years to come.

Those "children" are 18 year-old adults, and should not have to ask anybody's "permission" to seek work and practice their trade. The NBA is not a plantation.

I love watching Embiid. I wasn’t crazy about him seeking out LaVar Ball for a picture and meeting in LA lockeroom. I’m like YOU are better than them, let them seek you out.
