When I think about Beaty's teams, a few things come to mind:
1. 3rd and 4th down indecision followed by a need for a time out
2. Delay of game penalties because of #1/in spite of said time out
3. 3 and outs
4. 1st and goal followed by a play resulting in a loss or a false start penalty, ultimately leading to a need to settle for a field goal
5. Bubble screen, gain of 1
6. 3rd and 3, pass play goes for 2. 4th down.
7. 20+ point deficits after 1 quarter

Maybe, with all the progress Beaty is showing in resurrecting KU's program another team will come calling and offer him a contract he can't refuse. Arkansas let their coach go and I believe Beaty would have to go undefeated over the next 2 years to match his 5 year record....

8. Double safety blitz resulting in a 65 yard running play up the middle untouched for a TD. That RB had to rumble b/c he wasn’t that fast. Totally coach decision that defined it for me.

Crying in shock when you win. That should tell you enough to fire his ass after first said win.

Start of the Texas game last two years. Blown assignments for 7 point deficits w/ 6 seconds off the clock.

Let's go further. Plays that sum up the last couple of KU coaches:

1-MikeGottfried-OU fumbles
2-BobVaensente-Bosworth buys cheerleaders hot dogs.
3-Mase-MonteCouzzines 7 yard bulldozer through OU's defense.
4-Gameball-KU CB starts coverage 5 yards deep in his own endzone, SDSU throws for TD on goaline.
5-TheBuddha-Cornish 75 yard backbreaker versus the Corn.
6-Derp-Safety covers RB in flats while WR runs by him to set up TD20 seconds before half.
7-WTFChuck-Fake punt outta own endzone.

8. Onsides kickoff in 2017 for 7 point deficits w/9 seconds off the clock. Sounds like we will do that play yearly until we "do it the right way". I think we may have 90 more times to see it done until we see it work in our favor.

9. Baker Mayfield grabs his junk on our Jayhawk while up by multiple scores over Beaty. "It's a process".

10. Beaty's team 2017 while "Fire Zenger" banner flies proudly before the game. "Contract extension, huge raises all around due to one BIG12 win in three seasons". One relevant W, 3-33 overall. Salary was doubled!!!

Beaty teams crave respect while losing in epic fashion. Hasan (No) Defense gets azzhole of year award on the azzhole BG12 team of year. Beaty terms it "competitiveness". Fans call it "delusional".

Good coaches are able to speak in clear, definite statements. I rarely know what Beaty is saying. There’s no sign of clear thinking anywhere, “man.”

"Unfortunately when you go through rebuilds there isn’t always a quick fix. Sometimes there is,"

Beaty quote that illustrates his clear concise thinking process.

That’s a quality quote. Very representative. Sometimes it’s good to quite more at length to illustrate the fine mind at work:

“I spend — my wife probably would shoot me — but I’m just not very good with whining. I’m about fixing. … I’m a fixer and that’s probably not the best thing for me sometimes. But I don’t have time. My time is to move forward and I’m dealing with the next minute,” Beaty said. “There’s a lot of things that didn’t necessarily go our way, but my mind is figuring out how to fix it right now. Some of it is development. Some of it is recruiting. … And we’ve still got a great challenge, because kids are looking at certain things, right?”

Kirk - More words by Beaty can be even more illustrative as you have shown. Or maybe sometimes not. But I’m always thinking dadgum it. No quote of his isn’t complete w/o “dadgum” thrown in.

Any chance Beaty is Trump's nephew? They sound eerily similar.

He means, "Get off my back. I know we suck. I don't know why. Maybe you can figure it out. But your real job as a KU football fan is to lie back and enjoy it. Enjoy the process. It's your fault anyway. You were asking for it."

That was a quality quote. Has anyone asked Beaty what are some of the measures of success for this season or next? I mean, we should be improving in some areas, both as a team and individually. Are we doing that? I honestly have not listed to Beaty that much, but what I have heard sounds like gibberish. Mangino was pretty good as throwing bullshit clichés such as 'just keep sawing wood' but I have no confidence in the AD, the head coach, and if we keep Zenger as it is seeming we are, I won't have any confidence in the chancellor either. If there wasn't a priority point system that included football, how many people do you really think would show up to the kind of blowouts we have been witnessing. Our best ball should be at the end of the season, but this product at best is just as bad as when it started or probably worse. Minus any decently coached or talented team and KU is immediately outmatched. Folks, stop wasting your money.

On fourth and one from the 40, DC Kuco has his safeties play 20 yds. off the line of scrimmage, to prevent such plays from happening.

The play calling is considered typically wrong as our (Beaty/Bowen) defense s/h called for a running play defense, not some sort of safety blitz on the running handoff from QB.

With the shortage of talent Beaty has still short changed Bowen with, he (Bowen) has gambled far more often than I am sure he would have liked to. Sometime a "stunt" works and you nail 'em. When the perfect play is called against the "stunt" you get the "untouched" all the way to the endzone issues. I'm sure Beaty plans on addressing all the shortcomings with this next recruiting class crazy blush sick laugh

SorryHH, if Beaty was Trump's nephew he would prolly have some balls, speak with a forthright manner and not like a 12 year old, have a smoking hot super model wife and have us winning 11 or 12 games a year. Beaty IS NOT RELATED IN ANY FORM OR FASHION. Looked at the economy and GDP recently?

Yes, and I thank Obama daily for fixing the W mess. I'm just saying we have a Prez who talks incoherently, isn't very intelligent, and isn't qualified for the job they have.

That's where the comparison to Beaty ends. As far as I know, Beaty's wife wasn't ever an escort, hasn't been in porn, and Beaty didn't inherit more money than he has now.
