The negativity on this board can be a little depressing at times...although it's totally understandable given the history. The funny thing is it pales in comparison to the negativity on the KC chiefs message board....Chiefsplanet.com....after a loss like they had yesterday. The chiefs are 6 and 3 and leading their division by two games yet the fans on the message board think Andy Reid is a terrible coach and Alex Smith needs to be benched and the entire defense totally sucks. Fans.....they love to [censored], cry and whine. It doesn't seem to make any difference whether the team has a losing record or a winning record...,there is always something to cry and gripe about..

The opposite of love is ambivalence.

Chiefs fans are not ambivalent about their team.

Jayhawk football fans learn to remain ambivalent as a defense mechanism.

It's the Chiefs line that sucks. Giants showed up the Chiefs O-Line all game long. They shouldn't be pushing us back. It shows in our running game. Take the first several games and look at the last 5 for the Chiefs. You can cut the yards in half because our O-line isn't out-muscling the D-Lines.

NFL and KU still have Fans? Or are you talking about the kind that keep your face cooler on a hot summer day?

I think you have it right on the offense...but the defense can't stop the run and they can't cover the better receivers.

True, but I think that wouldn't be as big of a problem is their run game was going as well as it had been. A TD would have won that game against the Giants. Hunt's numbers are nothing stellar like when the Chiefs were undefeated and now they are playing teams that are fighting for last. No way should the Chiefs lose a game that way to the Giants. I think some coaching is to blame for some of that, but how has our line changed so much? Injuries?
