Up to 36.5. That's more like it.

Will OU be merciful? Can they afford to be?

Aren't they still in the running for a playoff spot? If so they will run it up as much as possible. Maybe they hang 70.

They will NOT in any way be merciful. OU in playoff contention with the leading Heisman candidate for a QB. Mayhem, er I mean Mayfield will rip our secondary to shreds. and yes I think there is a real possibiiity OU hangs 70 or more

you are suggesting they will want to expose Mayfield and their best players to injury in a game they have clearly won....don't think so. At some point they will take the pedal off the metal to rest guys and avoid some accidental injury. However, the second and third teams might run up the score...no one cares if they get hurt

I would run up the score with second teamers. Stoops always got crap for doing that, but I liked what he said about it. He said why would I put the second team in to sit on the ball? I want them to learn in a real game situation. Let's play the offense the way it was designed.

The only hope I see it being close is the fact that OU's defense is not a world beater by any stretch of the imagination.

KU may beat the spread with junk time points. Cue the moral victory squad.

I am sure if the team does cover he will be laughing after the game and during Hawktalk because he is so happy about getting close.

No I'm not saying he plays the entire game. They will prolly pull him at mid 3rd Q or when he has 500 passing, whichever comes first. 500 could be before halftaime. second and third stringers for OU will march up and down the field on our pummeled and beleaguered D.

Being the worst team in the nation, we are going to hurt OU's sos, so if they have the ability, they will hit triple digits on us. I still maintain that you could suit up 85 frat boys, and the score would be the same as what it will be anyway.
