Oklahoma State, a Nike school, is in some doo doo.

All signs point to adidas taking the big hit on this.

Let the games begin.

Big time athletics is a dirty business full of dirty individuals. Nothing that comes out of this will surprise me.

As far as I am concerned they are all dirty/guilty until proven otherwise.

Rick Pitino expects to be fired today. Word is he stormed out of a meeting that lasted only 5 minutes. He had an attorney yesterday.

FBI said only the tip of the ice berg. We all should worry, Kentucky, Duke, Kansas. The fact is you pretty much don't get the top 5 recruits or maybe top 15 without some deal.
That is why I am in favor of doing it above board. It would enable players to stay in college, especially if the NBA agreed to take extra year off the rookie cap.

Louisville is on probation and under appeal on vacating like 148 games. Including a National Championship in 2013 and a FF in 2012. If that stands, wonder if he has that big tattoo removed?

Boxes and bags reportedly being removed and put in a black Lexus at this time. 10:37 Eastern.

If the vacated games stand Rick loses 2 FF, a NC. It leaves him 5 FF and 1 NC.
His record vs Calipari at UK, would finish at 1-8. Maybe his competitiveness made him cross that line.

If Pitino is fired who takes the job? They will have to finish probation but UL remains a great job. NBA type arena to play in and usually a top 3 in profits. A lot of money there. Pitino made about 6.5 -7 million a year. If the timing was better, Billy Donovan would be a great replacement. He could win a few titles.

Tom Jurich UL AD and one of the best in many areas fired.
Pitino's protection gone, he is next.
Bobby Petrino will leave. Tennessee or several could be interested.

Our biggest rival has went down. No joy in it really.

Numerous other schools are going to be dragged into this.

Should be the end of the one and done era. Colleges are getting in trouble mostly because of greed but partly because of the NBA.

Reports are Tom Jurich was told to fire Rick Pitino. He refused and both were fired.

Computers being removed.
This cannot help UL's appeal on their punishment over strippers in dorm.

Calipari is in Washington DC coaching a Congressional team. He volunteered for this and is making the rounds in DC.
Can't make that up.

This will turn Louisville into Baylor football. Death penalty would not be the worst thing, would give them time and space to reinvent the program.

Arizona is involved to. They are the #1 ranked team heading into the season. Will they fire Miller?

Funny, saying administration leave on Pitino, Jurich out. Rick is going to fight but after screwing an assistant coaches wife over a restaurant table, knocking her up, paying for abortion. Then the hookers in the dorms many times paid for by an assistant. Then this embarssses them.? Lol

This is a complete blindside that this could/would happen. Let's see: 1. The most talented kids in the country, most of whom have no or limited means 2. some of the sleaziest underhanded people around in AAU and HS coaching. 3. Assistant coaches in charge of recruiting at major universities, willing to make a name for themselves, or just hold onto their current postision. 4. Head coaches at said same institutions with 2-5 million dollar salaries, looking for national championships(and a little sumpin-sumpin on the side because of their greed and ego). 5. Administrations willing to turn a blind eye to the goings on in the athletic department, or on the take themselves. 6. Unmonitored, unfiltered apparel companies who will sell a product at any cost and give multi-hundred million dollar contracts to schools to "wear their apparel".. 7. THE sleaziest scumbags and lawyers who ultimately represent these kids and make millions off their contracts in both the NBA and with the endorsements.

Even the NCAA was prolly privy to the goings on and turned a blind eye(PROLLY WITH BRIBE MONIES). They may also go down in this one.

Nope. NEVER saw it coming

We are always reading complaints by posters on this board because Coach Self doesn't get all the top players he recruits. (Duke and Kentucky get all the good ones they want. Why can't Self?) Maybe now we should consider that a plus.

ITP: Failing at recruiting is a good thing!
