You obviously think Kansas is a vast wasteland for football if you don't like the actual Bohl for HC suggestion made at the same time Beaty showed up.

His qualifications? A whole bunch of Texas HS games. Zero Eddie Robinson awards on the mantle.

You mean like "base" - a fundamental principle or groundwork; foundation; basis?

C'mon, Laura. You can do better.
Only dg/sh/it21 knows for sure.

Read the feature story in Sunday's Denver Post detailing the QB story. We should have hired THAT guy as our coach. Turnaround specialist.
We will see this year if our guy can coach like Bohl.

You would've been complaining about recruiting because Josh Allen didn't have any other power five offers per 247.

Sorry you failed to correctly correct my grammar.

Bohl can have many awards and any QB he wants. He still showed no interest in the KU job, twice.

What's the cutoff for realistic when it comes to discussing coaches that show no interest in coaching KU football? Obviously Saban is too far.

Let's talk about Mike Leach. The posters discussed him, and he has a top tier quarterback, too.

I seem to recall Phil Fulmers name mentioned as a coaching possibility at the time

I met him at a restaurant in San Francisco the night before Univ of Calif beat him back years ago to start out their Tenn. season. Hate that color orange. Don't know if he is, but could possibly be too old to start over again, even back five years ago.

He was begging for the job when we hired Gill and Weis, if I recall.

I have shown a link earlier to his MANY awards. He has no interest in a P5 BG12 conference job? Hardly.

But see, you're lacking proof that he was interested.

If we don't need proof, I'm back to another point. Guys, we could've had Saban. He was interested. He was all about the P5 B12 (8?) job before he took over at Michigan State.

Arguing sure is fun when you make up facts. No wonder you do this so often.

My original point was...?

"We should have hired THAT guy as our coach. Turnaround specialist." He was talked about by media and posters at the time. But NOT dgless21. Got it.

BTW, I haven't talked smack about Beaty but you always turn this back into some hate fest on the guy. All I've said lately is, we will give him a chance to finally coach something better than a Pile of Garbage.

If we had gotten Bohl back then, he wouldn't have to lean on the roster crutch to keep his job. My main point is several posters are cowed into loving 2-22!!

You usually contribute so little that can be posted about. At least I put crap out to talk about. Off season stuff.

So you are saying that Bohl could have increased the roster size despite our scholarship limit? Wow, that sounds like a magic wand. Roster crunch was created by Weis not Beaty.
