Missouri losing students like crazy, and to help make up the lost revenue, it increases tuition 2.1% and cuts 400 jobs. Goober Crimson & Blue Blood Registered: 11/17/09	That's the mentality of higher education and their philosophy on funding. They wouldn't have a clue on running a business or an income statement. I am surprised they cut 400 jobs. I wonder how many were tenured? Or, was it just the grunts that actually do the day to day work to keep the school running? I'm betting on the latter.

The complete and total lack of any type of a competent response to the chaos that went on by anyone in a leadership role over there is largely what has fostered this demise in enrollment and the subsequent job cuts. Of course the crap storm that initiated it all played a part, but it was exacerbated by the response of those in charge.
