So Tom Keegan wants to run Carlton Bragg out of town?

For what? FULLY exonerated of the assault charges. Got caught with a marijuana pipe? Hell, I once jaywalked across Naismith Drive when nobody was looking.

Apparently Keegan thinks Bragg was a wasted scholarship, so let's chase him off.

I still believe in Carlton Bragg. His game is not suited to be a back to the basket post up player. Self can work around that.

As for off the court issues--little smoke, no fire. His biggest problem is not HIS character, but the character of a certain other athlete he hangs out with.

Remember last season when Keegan went after Coach Beaty?

Wrong on Beaty. Wrong on Carlton.

What a disgraceful attack on a 19 y/o athlete who LOVES this university and has done NOTHING to deserve it. Or is there something going on we don't know about? If so, share it with us.

Shame on you Tom Keegan.

Quit calling your column Lunch Break. Out To Lunch would be more appropriate

Blowhard. Bully. Bloated Blowhard Bully..

The LJW should have kept Gary Bedore and jettisoned Tom Keegan instead.

Lets face it, Carlton has not had the success that was expected of him.

I'm not for asking him to hit the road for what he has done wrong.

He certainly seems like a young man who has real charisma and is probably a lot of fun to be around. His smile is infectious.

With that said I am sure he will talk to the people he trusts and make a decision on what is best for him.

Maybe he is not even thinking about leaving.

Keegan is actually good. He is the only one at this sham publication willing to be objective and criticize KU Athletics.

Bragg transferring is not a shocker. Good kid but every time he touched the ball he scared me. I wish him good luck.

Sorry to see Bragg go.I think he might have put it all together next year. He did play out of position, but Jackson did too. But then Jackson could probably play any position and do an excellent job. Bragg apparently couldn't. As far as playing, most of the time he was a drag this year.He did have a few good moments. I wish him well wherever he lands. Some of our other players who have transferred out have done well. Patience is a virtue that many don't have, players and fans.

Bragg took a huge step back in 2016-17. His combination of soft-play, hands of stone, and off the court issues made him expendable. While I wish Carlton well, where ever he ends up, I can't wait to see how Mitch Lightfoot's sophomore season looks. I have a feeling Mitch will make us all forget about Bragg.

Lol...Lightfoot will never be great at KU. A tall more mediocre version of Morningstar. Bill needs to get off his ass and recruit a true 4. There are a few still unsigned. Lol at the Lightfoot hope.

Morningstar was sorta mediocre in his first 4-5 years if I remember correctly.

I agree 100%. Lightfeet will be a real nice 4 year player for us. I believe in the Lightfeet.

No long 4 year scholarship, but one year. Looks his was not renewed.

I don't expect Lightfoot to be much more than a fill in player. Somebody off the bench when we are in foul trouble.

Depends on his soph yr (remember Withey?) improvement. Bragg went backward as he wasn't a born leader.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him get a lot of minutes by his junior and senior years.

Lightfood needs to learn to let the game come to him and slow down. When he did play he played too fast and made mistakes. I like his cocky attitude and doesn't seem timid as a freshman.
