Curious how this impacts Weber and Snyder.

Many calling for Weber to be fired.

Snyder kept no secrets about his desire to see his son take over.

laird veatch will be the next a.d. he played with venables for snyder. he was also coached by jim leavitt while at state. that's two clues as to who follows 'the wizard.'

if weber makes "the dance," he'll be back for his final year. if not, i suspect he'll be cut, and janko will be in mhk next season.

It bothers me that KSU (and Mich State, Cuse, Others) can lose 10+ and earn a chance at the "playoff." 68 teams are a joke. You shouldn't make the tournament, but sadly, you probably will.

Did KSU ruin any chance with Underwood by letting Weber stay this year?

unless some alum wants to pony-up underwood's $6 million oSu buyout, i can't see him coming back to k-state. the a.d. needs to focus money on replacing snyder not weber. football drives the k-state budget.

Listening to sports talk today and many names were brought up as a replacement. Zenger was not one of them. Why not?

currie was hired without even a zenger discussion. veatch will be the next a.d.

Bill Snyder - Head Football Coach, Kansas State
"Laird was a very fine player for us and is one of those young guys that you love to pieces. He was a great teammate, a tremendous student and an excellent person who comes from a great family that still resides here in Manhattan. I am excited about having him back and think he will be absolutely terrific for this University. I am awfully proud of him." 2009

Jank isn't leaving his situation @ SMU for Manhattan. When he leaves SMU it'll be for a better job. I know he's an alum, but he's not taking the K-State job.

may not be an option for jank. coach weber's squad wins a couple more games after beating tcu last night, state will be in "the dance," and that gets him another year. with the a.d. changeover, all the coaching jobs open around the country, and coach snyder's situation, this is not a good time for k-state to be changing hoops coaches anyway.
