Praying and wishing Bill Snyder a full recovery. Here is hoping and praying that KU HC DB can become as great of a coach as Snyder has become.

Don't worry. He's not human. Some sorta FootballWizard who, 30 years ago, felt sorry for the prariebillies and settled down in the FlintHills to lead em outta their Troubles. Nowadays, the Prairiebillies are like one enormous DoubtingThomas ignoring miracle after miracle and still doubting the old BucktoothedWizard. They will learn soon enough how cruel the Football Gods can be. Kinda like all our BandwagonFans who doubted the Buddha.

Kind of ironic he's getting treatment at KU Med.

Don't wish any ill will on him at all and hope he beats out the cancer(what the rumor mill is saying he has), but for as much back handed crap, a lot of times subtle I grant, he's thrown KU's way over the years it is ironic.

Curious timing on the Del Miller retirement.

Hope Snyder gets all better. I'd really like KU to get a(nother) win against him before he retires.

del's been around a long time. he's leaving the qb position in excellent shape and being followed by one of his students, collin klein.

By no means was it a shot at Del or what he's accomplished.

I assume the staff knew about Bill. Del retiring while this is going on (as it seemed to become news Friday) is just interesting to me.

Not a shot at anyone or a conspiracy theory. Just seems like unusual timing to make that announcement.

Just like I find our timing on Je'ney and Slater to be unusually late.

del's pictured to the right of mo latimore (black man) who is also rumored to be leaving. bob and mark stoops on this staff along with mangino and the likely next coach, if bill leave's early, jim leavitt, second from left/back row.

i've learned the throat cancer is very difficult to deal with due to swallowing/eating issues. i hope snyder comes through this just fine. but it's going to be a battle even for the wizard.

OK, hoping he beats out the throat cancer he's battling is stupid in your opinion. Got it.

Jesus may not be able to help you though I'm afraid. You're too far gone.

He's dead??

I thought he was just getting out patient treatment and will be good to go by March or April according to him.

You the one saying he passed.

I'm the one who wished him well in battling what can be a horrible disease, as I too have had cancer.

From the 1st hand stories I've heard over the years from good friends who've played under Snyder, in regards to KU, I merely noted the irony of him now seeking treatment at The University of Kansas Med Center.

"dwelling on" is my exact words. "he passed" is YOUR exact words.

Alright English lit. major, when that phrase is used in reference to a person when does it not imply that person has died?

dwelling - It's a verb that is used to show someone's (morbid) interest in a subject, such as who may be KSU's replacement coach if BS is too ill to continue. You feel I made a literal statement and I used "dwelling" in a subjective sense deliberately. There you have the whole story.

Yet you used "passing on" in a way which means someone is dying or has died and then accuse others of being morbid. Oh the irony. The whole story.

Even though this semantic exercise is oh so fun, I do hope Snyder does fully recover in part so KU can beat his team on the field without excuses.

Also, not specifically directed at you, but I wouldn't wish cancer on anyone, except maybe a mass murderer, rapist, or what have you (even then I wouldn't feel good about it really) and anyone trying to imply my feelings are otherwise is a sick individual

"Fully recover in part" sounds conditional. Cancer isn't a game time term unless you have a cancer among the players. During Weis era we had too much thanks to Gill. We cut Weis but he got paid handsomely to take the fall for Zenger. It's all part of the football history here.

I should say Bill Snyder's cancer has nothing to do with football or cancer involving a football program.

I was thinking heart issues from heart disease. Could be Arthritis, Respiratory Diseases, Osteoporosis, and maybe Influenza and Pneumonia.

Obviously Mr. Synder's body is telling him to quit coaching.

Gill was responsible for Weis's failure. Gill recruited the dream team. We understand. We also understand that Weis is not responsible for the current situation. It's Beaty's fault.
