This year the Head Coach Mike MacIntyre and the Colorado Buffaloes were picked to finish last in the pre-season PAC 12 South Division. They won the PAC 12 South Division, played in the PAC 12 Championship game where they lost to Washington who is in the College Football Playoff, and played in a bowl game where they lost to Oklahoma State in the Alamo Bowl. Prior to this season, Colorado went 4-8, 2-10 and 4-9 before finishing this year 10-4. Colorado even extended his contract after his first year.

I know we fans want progress and win now but I think many people see progress with Coach Beaty and the team. Small steps that take time. Colorado game MacIntyre 4 years and look what happened.

Let's not be so quick to ask that KU pull the trigger and fire Coach Beaty if things don't go well in 2017.

Coach Mac was 10-2 in the WAC (HC San Jose State) in his 2012 season. But of course he didn't succeed Weis so we have OTHER expectations. He deserved his time at Colorado to get to 10 wins this year in the PAC. If only we had a glimmer of hope with Beaty ala Mac.

Mac makes $2.2M annual and has hit 10 wins in two seasons (2012,2016).

DB makes $1.6M annual and has a 1 win avg in his two seasons (2015,2016).

I see similarities. And when DB wins 10 in his 3rd,4th years we must owe him $16M. Wow

Honestly, Beaty did a better job against OkieState. 44 to 20 and had the lead going into the 3rd qt. And that is w/ Cozart starting at QB w/ at least one pic 6. Okie State kicked CU all over the field. KU in the Pac south might've went bowling.

My CU thought is that they "hit the wall" late in the yr

Walls are walls. RapeU in Waco and SmackWomynU in Norman are bigger walls than anything thrown up by the Pac 12 south this fall. Not to mention the BucktoothedWizard snarling out beneath the bowels of the Great Hole in the Ground out in InjunCountry.
