...we double our guy's salary after 2-22. Amazing! In year two he took Conn to a bowl game. But the AD there had enough losses. Will pay him 3-4M to not coach anymore...fast forward to next year for Kansas?

Oh the posters there defended his clean program and his graduation rates as well as DB gets here.

Oh, the attendance was way down in the low 20's just like at Kansas. Circumstances different? How?

Did the uconn coach take on as bad a situation as Beaty did at KU? Nope.

I don't agree with your simplistic attitude about Kansas vs all of the rest of the nation's football programs, 0710. Accountability begins somewhere for DB. For the UConn HC it was at 11-26. For his second year there, he won SIX games. But for some unknown reason that only the AD Zenger knows, we are now saddled with a twice as expensive loser.

What does Weis have to do with it in year three of the HS Coach Experiment at Kansas? Now DB is fully in love with continuing a JUCO plug program instead of four year traditionals. Johnson is a perfect example of someone good enough at WR to get Beaty fired...he won't stop long enough in his recruiting non-trad athletes in 2017 to actually understand he will need to coach somebody up.

Why have a football team at all?

Based on KUCO's posts: Our recruits suck. The Players suck. The Fans suck. The Coaches suck. The AD sucks.

LOL
Pot meet kettle.
The irony of that statement from you is rich!

Literally every point you make in this post shows an extreme and complete lack of understanding of how football teams and programs work, as well as what the situation was when Weis was fired. Hence how long something like that takes to overcome, much less what kinds of actions it entails.

I bet you still give him a great chance to turn this around after four years time passes. Because after all, Weis did a bad job prior to Beaty. I must not know football if I gave up earlier than you on Beaty, kman. My question is still unanswered, why is Beaty in love today on JUCOS saving his hide?

UCONN brought back their successful earlier coach Edsel so it is possible to bring back our most successful great one. Don't you agree?

Edsall left on decent terms.

Mangino left on terrible terms.

Mangino is unlikely to ever come back to KU regardless of whether we offer him a job.

Edsally left on terrible terms dgless so you are just "making stuff up now".

Offer him a KFC franchise & he would be here in a heartbeat!
