Popular novel and TV movie, circa 1971. Lovesick teenagers are forced to get married when the girl becomes pregnant. Starring Desi Arnaz Jr. in the title role.

Really? I didn't read the book or see the movie. (At least, I don't THINK I saw the movie.) But it was all the rage with the girls in my junior high school.

Thought that this was interesting....I found this on highschoolhoop.com......Its an article posted today Titled Who's Going to Midnight Madness? Heres a little bit of it...
Kentucky: “Big Blue Madness? is the first occasion in which Billy Gillispie will be on the floor with his entire team for the public to see. Gillispie deservedly inherits the title from the Godfather of Soul as the “hardest working man in show business,? even if it’s a slightly different industry. If he usually stays up late to get in the rumored 18-hour day, then it won’t be a problem for him to say hello to a slew of big guys at midnight tonight… 6-9 PF/C J’Mison Morgan ’08 (South Oak Cliff; Dallas, TX) 6-8 F Chris Singleton ’08 (Dunwoody; Dunwoody, GA) 6-11 C Garrett Stutz ’08 (North Kansas City; Kansas City, MO) 6-11 C Ralph Sampson Jr. ’08 (Northview; Duluth, GA) 6-4 G Verdell Jones ’08 (Central; Champaign, IL) 6-6 G/F Jon Hood ’09 (Madisonville North Hopkins; Madisonville, KY) 6-6 G/F DeAndre Liggins ’08 (Brewster Academy; Wolfeboro, NH) *committed 6-6 SF Darius Miller ’08 (Mason County; Maysville, KY) *committed 6-7 PF Dakotah Euton ’10 (Rose Hill Christian; Ashland, KY) *committed 6-1 PG K.C. Ross-Miller ’10 (God’s Academy; Dallas, TX)
There is also a rumor that 6-5 G/F Scotty Hopson ’08 (University Heights Academy; Hopkinsville, KY) will be in the building as well even though has given a strong verbal to Mississippi State.
Kansas: Arguably the best environment in college basketball, KU has been hosting one of the craziest Midnight Madness celebrations since Roy Williams paced the sidelines. 6-7 F Marcus Morris ’08 (APEX Academies; Pennsauken, NJ) 6-8 F Markieff Morris ’08 (APEX Academies; Pennsauken, NJ) 6-4 G/F Travis Releford ’08 (Bishop Miege; Shawnee Mission, KS) 6-5 G/F Jeff Reid ’09 (Hayden; Topeka, KS) 6-0 PG Michael Dixon ’09 (Lee’s Summit West; Kansas City, MO)
Looks like BOBO is going to Kentuckys Late Night after all...damn Billy G.

He is not going to Kentucky. Many reports claimed that today.
Last report had him not attending a Late Night tonight.

I wouldnt count anything as fact at this time, but that supposedly came from one of his reps. Read somewhere else that he was considering a last minute attendence in Lawrence.

Last report had him not attending a Late Night tonight.
This is from yesterday: "Another Madness prospect with a seemingly strong feeling for Kentucky is big man J'Mison Morgan, a 6-10 player from Dallas. UK Madness weekend marks his final recruiting visit. Earlier he went to UCLA, Kansas, Alabama and LSU.
His father, Ron Morgan, made a decision sound imminent.
"I believe after this trip, he said he'd be ready to go ahead and try to end the process, the elder Morgan said. He gets calls all day. E-mails and texts.
But he said he wouldn't rush and make a hasty decision.
When asked if Madness might sweep his son of his feet, the elder Morgan said, I'm not sure. I don't think he's been swept off his feet yet.
But a description of 24,000 fans in Rupp Arena cheering Madness led the player's father to say, "If that's how it is, I think he'll be amazed."
In the ratings by rivals.com, Morgan is the highest-regarded prospect visiting UK's Madness. Rivals puts him at No. 23. "
source Doesn't sound good to me!

It would be cool if he slipped into the Fieldhouse, maybe he's trying to keep it on the down low.

One of the many articles I was talking about.
We'll all have to wait and see tonight.
