Charlie has a track record. The question is whether or not it is truly reflective of his individual performance and how he will run today's race against the competition he faces.
It is also necessary to consider whether coaches determine player's success, or players determine a coach's success. Both are true, IMO.
I don't see how anyone can expect Kansas football success can elevate higher than a 2 star level without attracting a roster of players who can perform at the 4-5 star level. Nor can you expect players to perform at the highest level without receiving the benefit of 5 star level coaching. Methinks we have neither, and I'm not sure how we can get either.

I would be okay with that. It is simple and hard to screw up. Plus we have the RBs to make that happen. Better than drawing up a pass offense none of the players are comfortable with when we don't have the players who can execute it.
