11 games left against DET and 6 left against CLE. Dayton is salivating.

And yet you still can't draw 25,000 fans at home on a Saturday night vs Texas.

Outdrawn by the Royals playing a last place team ON THE ROAD..... like you said. What a fan base.

BTW since the All Star Break the AL Central sans the White Sox is absolutely on fire. Detroit, KC, and Twinkies are 7-3 and The Tribe is 6-4. By far the hottest division in baseball all the sudden. Rays and Dodgers are red hot but nobody below them in their divisions are doing squat.

First sweep of the WSox on the road since 99. Very Nice. Now if only Detroit and Cleveland would stop winning at the same pace as the Royals.

AL Central's 1, 2, and 3 teams are absolutely white hot since the All Star break.

Funny how that's the only thing bad you guys can say about the Indians.
It doesn't look like it has any effect the team though - best home record in the division at 33-19.

Well it is not the only bad thing I could say but then we did not start the "great fans" trash talk.

Other than their complete mediocrity on a yearly basis, the fact that they haven't won a series in longer than the Royals, and the fact that they are based in an awful city.

How many defensive center fielders in the AL are better than Cain?

I dont know if there are many or any. But the centerfielder of the Blue Jays made one of the most incredible catches I ever seen lately. It was in MLB Networks Top 10 Plays of the month. Cain's body plant into the centerfield wall in Chitown should have made Top 10 also.

I saw that to, crazy. That game saver that Heyward had last week was awesome to.

Just not many guys that cover as much ground as Cain can. He just glides out there.

I would expect 91-71 to be good for the playoffs.

But that's a tough road. You basically have to sweep more series than you lose (and you cannot get swept).

Enter the road trip to Seattle/Chicago a game OR 2 over .500. Then take 6 of 7.
Those are my highest expectations.
