I have been on a cruise the past 2 weeks, so I missed the good news. This was the best Christmas present a KU fan could get. No more shotgun on 3rd and short! Run the damn option a little more and we may have racked up a few more "W's" this year. Go Hawks.

I want Cotton, dusted from ISU with McCarney, to replace Q. He knows the league, we can probably get him and he has a good record except for this year. (How much of ISU's troubles were injury related?)

And timing of the injuries. McCarney got screwed. ISU healthy this year would have owned the North.

Maybe with another defense. And a brand new offensive line. And a better runningback...

Why on God's green earth would we hire Cotton, the OC for Frank Solich's last years in Huskerland?

What was Solich's record again?

The rap on Solich was his ineptitude in handling the offense. This issue came to a head in 2002 when the Huskers finished 7-7 and Solich turned over the reins to Cotton. The offense finished with its worst ppg totals in decades at 24.8 ppg.

We don't need that here.

ISU spread the field and moved the ball at will in 2005. Meyer threw to Blythe and company, ran, ran the option. They were in the hunt in the North. They looked pretty good to me.
