George talked about poop again...it was the most intelligent thing said during this broadcast.

I'm getting killed on Twitter for my stance, but this is a proud, proud sports town and I'm happy it stood up.

The thing is, nobody gets why the fans booed him.

They don't realize he flat out lied about taking a player from the Royals.

That's why he got booed....let the idiots be misinformed.

A great moment.

I'll guarantee you there would have been scarcely a negative peep if Cano had just made his selections without lying first. I know this town.

I'm happy that the entire nation was able to see how white trash KC fans are and how they have an inferiority complex only rivaled by the K Staters. Maybe if the Royals weren't the laughingstock of MLB year in year out and actually had a player worth a crap they could participate in events set up to showcase the league's best talent.

BOOOOOOOOO!

Please. Cano lied. If he hadn't lied, no one would have booed. End of story.

And I daresay that KC baseball fans aren't the same thing as KC football fans, which ARE overwhelmingly white trash. Baseball is not a white trash sport, at least not in the midwest. If anything, KC baseball fans tend to be way too polite.

This would have been one of the most boring 3 hours in TV history but the booing of that liar was a watershed moment. We get a goose egg, George talking about sh1ttin pants again and then kruky throwing down ribs like they're going to jump off the table.

Adam Jones was also going to town on those ribs.

Making me damn hungry.

Getting your sports news context from ESPN is like getting your world perspective from Fox News.

Is Cano's interview where he said he'd pick a KC guy some big secret? Many of the articles I read make no mention of it, they just talk about who Butler would replace and how there wasn't room for him.

It's really a huge oversight on the media's part and it's making KC look bad nationally, which I think is BS. Had he never said he'd pick a Royal, none of this would have happened. No one to blame but himself, yet NO ONE on the ESPN broadcast brings up this major point. East coast bias at it's best.
