Doesn't matter what LJ does. The chiefs defense will not even come close to stopping the Colts offense.

How do the Colts plan to stop LJ? If they can't stop LJ, Peyton Manning won't spend much time on the field.

Kansas City 31,
Indianapolis 21

Oh and one more thing ... DENVER SUCKS!!! BIG TIME!! SAN FRANCISCO?????

Allow me a few seconds to guffaw.

Trent will throw a few picks. Manning will have a field day. I'm just glad we get to play one more week.

The NFL has seemingly turned into college football (6-6 teams going to bowl games) and into the NCAA tournament (schools finishing 500 in their league with 19 wins overall getting at large bids). How many crummy playoff teams are there this year, especially in the NFC?

The Chiefs will be eliminated in Indy, either by blowout or by breaking our hearts. That said, we finally got a break -even if we didn't deserve it.

The best thing about this is that our berth came at DENVER'S expense. Shanahan is a very good coach (if not the genius he holds himself out to be), but I can't help but be pleased when he loses. Especially when he loses games at home that his team had no business losing.

Did I read that Indy has the worst rush defense of any playoff team in history? It could be a longggg day for Peyton.

We deserve it...If you make it to the playoffs you deserve it.....and about the bad records making it to the playoffs...i agree that this year there are a few in the NFC that are a little soso but don't forget about last years 10-6 Chiefs that missed the playoffs.........GO CHIEFS

I was listening to fox sports radio on my way back to Lawrence today and I hear this guy talking about how the Chiefs backed into the playoffs. This guy was a diehard Jets fan, but where does he get off saying the Chiefs backed into the playoffs. We won our game and caught some breaks, not backing in. We won the last 2 games of the regular season...again, not backing in. The Bears are the weakest 13-3 team I've ever seen. I would say they and the Giants and Cowboys backed into the playoffs moreso than the Chiefs. The Giants go 8-8 and they get in. The entire NFC backed into the playoffs, other than the Eagles. I can think of 5 AFC teams that are better than the Giants.

I just saw that video. I do agree, the Chiefs did what they had to do (win) but they did get lucky with Cinci blowing it and Denver being stupid...

Chiefs rule Broncos drool? Both teams are currently 9-7, and split the season series. Don't see any difference there.

Kansas City - Preparing for Indianapolis in a playoff game.
Denver - Preparing for the golf course.

That's a pretty big difference, don't you think?

Yes thats a difference, but I mean in terms of the actual teams talent wise and such.

Looks like Denver lucked out. They get an extra week of playing golf. That being said - at least K.C. gets a chance to go to the Super Bowl. I almost hope they do get there. It will make it a lot easier for me to get Super Bowl tickets.

talent wise and such, the Chiefs are good enough to be in the playoffs and Denver isn't. Chiefs are at practice, Broncos are taking naps

I was driving back from the Chefs game with little to no hope that we would make the playoffs.
Then over the radio I hear that Plummer is in the game and my attitude changes. If anyone can lose a game, it is Plummer.
Plummer didn't lose the game for the Broncos, but the game went south for the Broncos after Cutler went down.

Out of all the teams we could be playing, we match up best with the Colts.
LJ will have a big day, but so will Manning. I think it could come down to a field goal either way.
Hopefully each punter will get a chance to play this time.

Plummer hardly played in the game and I'd say Cutler's 2nd half interception (returned for a SF TD) had more to do with the Broncos demise than anything Plummer could've done.

Shanahan and Dennison were the two monkey's who couldn't figure out plays to get the Broncos in the end zone. I realize you need the players to execute but the play calling blew. 3 different trips inside the 5 yard line resulted in no touchdown. That is weak.

But, you did say...

I suppose you meant, "...but the game went south for the Broncos after Cutler re-entered in the 2nd half."

I must have missed Plummer doing great... Cutler wasn't the same after he went down, and threw a costly pic-six. I meant what I said, the Broncos were not the same after he went down. You are trying to argue that I said something that I didn't... move on....

I am not sure who they would be worse than in the NFC. Record wise maybe the Bears but in a regular season game in KC they would have beaten the Bears by plenty.
