Every team that played this weekend played at home and had an opportunity to get into the playoffs just like us. We just happened to win. What’s wrong with that? So, let’s not get it twisted and say, ‘well they’re lucky.’ We didn’t get lucky. We won. We won the game we’re supposed to win. We won a home game just like we’re supposed to do. Those other teams played at home and they didn’t win. That’s not our fault."

I just saw that video. I do agree, the Chiefs did what they had to do (win) but they did get lucky with Cinci blowing it and Denver being stupid...

Chiefs rule Broncos drool? Both teams are currently 9-7, and split the season series. Don't see any difference there.

Kansas City - Preparing for Indianapolis in a playoff game.
Denver - Preparing for the golf course.

That's a pretty big difference, don't you think?

Yes thats a difference, but I mean in terms of the actual teams talent wise and such.

Looks like Denver lucked out. They get an extra week of playing golf. That being said - at least K.C. gets a chance to go to the Super Bowl. I almost hope they do get there. It will make it a lot easier for me to get Super Bowl tickets.

talent wise and such, the Chiefs are good enough to be in the playoffs and Denver isn't. Chiefs are at practice, Broncos are taking naps

I was driving back from the Chefs game with little to no hope that we would make the playoffs.
Then over the radio I hear that Plummer is in the game and my attitude changes. If anyone can lose a game, it is Plummer.
Plummer didn't lose the game for the Broncos, but the game went south for the Broncos after Cutler went down.

Out of all the teams we could be playing, we match up best with the Colts.
LJ will have a big day, but so will Manning. I think it could come down to a field goal either way.
Hopefully each punter will get a chance to play this time.

Plummer hardly played in the game and I'd say Cutler's 2nd half interception (returned for a SF TD) had more to do with the Broncos demise than anything Plummer could've done.

Shanahan and Dennison were the two monkey's who couldn't figure out plays to get the Broncos in the end zone. I realize you need the players to execute but the play calling blew. 3 different trips inside the 5 yard line resulted in no touchdown. That is weak.

But, you did say...

...but the game went south for the Broncos after Cutler went down.

I suppose you meant, "...but the game went south for the Broncos after Cutler re-entered in the 2nd half."

I must have missed Plummer doing great... Cutler wasn't the same after he went down, and threw a costly pic-six. I meant what I said, the Broncos were not the same after he went down. You are trying to argue that I said something that I didn't... move on....
