Kansas-bound Cole Aldrich is expected to reach 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds before his Bloomington Jefferson career ends. The 7-foot, 250-pound senior already has the 1,000 points. The other day, Aldrich was invited to play in the national prep all-star Roundball Classic in the spring in Chicago.

Keep up the good work Cole train. Scored 30+ in 2 of his last 3 games.

Where are those people saying he was overated? It's good to see that Cole is rebounding well from his injuries last year.

I'm predicting Brandon Rush will be back for at least one more season. His NBA stock is not soaring this season and he enjoys campus life.

If so, Cole Aldrich is the final piece needed to hang an NCAA Championship banner. We've already got the best backcourt in the nation, and his huge presence will give us one of the best frontlines as well. (Assuming Arthur stays, he's the only one who worries me about going pro at year's end).

I'm certainly not writing off this year's team. We can go all the way, but add this kid to the mix and we're awesome as opposed to very, very good.

Ain't it great being a Jayhawk fan? McDonald's All-Americans at every position and a Coach who will keep bringing them in every year.

I certainly wish, but without Chalmers and possibly King Arthur next year, bringing home a national title will be tough.

I don't see Mario's family moving their life to Lawrence, Ks for him to just play 2 years. I see Mario graduating from KU. If that is the case, his name and number will be up next to Max on the South end of the fieldhouse.

The move wasn't just to watch Mario play two years. It was a monumental standard of living shift upwards. You see who employs both parents?

No, she's team mom, but doesn't have an official title. And I never heard anything negative about the Chalmers' SoL before here; supposition, I suppose.
