He really doesn't want to win very badly does he?
If he did, he'd realize '08 is still in the backlash phase that no Republican could pull out.
Of course an Obama v Watts campaign would at least generate some serious interest across the country.

If a geek like Brownback can get elected to the Presidency of the United States, it'll be a dark day for humanity.

On the other hand, Shirl, he's the one guy I can think of that would have me "longing for the days of W."

You're just saying that because Frist and Allen have dropped out.

I ain't no Brownback fan, but I have a hard time believing he would have Phelps advise him on anything and let the public know about it. Can you provide a source for the Phelps listing? That one is pretty hard to imagine, and I believe in giant maneating insects.

OTOH, Brownback is one of the few in Congress to have any interest in Darfur, even though 90% of Americans have no idea what that means.

I don't have time to explain. Just put an "I [heart] the janjaweed sticker on your car, er, recumbent bicycle, and you'll be okay.

yes brownback has done a lot for darfur and i REALLY wish more congressman would. however that doesn't outweigh all of his negatives. W did a lot for AIDS in africa but i wasn't exactly first in line to reelect him.
