Anyone watching the Royals? This is ridiculous. Pena botches up a routine double play, Teahen whiffs on a routine fly ball, Greinke lasts 2/3 of an innning. At least the Royals have the cheapest ticket prices in MLB.

Isn't Gobble the only lefty pitcher the Royals have? Still...he is pretty worthless...he was a starter a few years ago and show "some" ability...he's gotten worse though!

It is sad but their pitching has improved over the off season. What is sad is the merry-ro-round that Buddy Bell calls a lineup. Get your freaking guys in the order. Put the guys with the highest BA in the lineup and tell the others when they get their chance in a late inning pinch hit opportunity that they better get a hit or not get another opportunity unmtil everyone else does. Leave Reggie in left field. Bench the other two turkeys. Leave DeJesus in center and let Teahen take his lumps in right at least he will hit. Never take Gordon out at third, he is way too solid defensively and his bat will come around. He is a ball player. Leave Pena at SS never take him out and get Grudzalik healthy and once that happens never take him out. Let Shealy play first base, his bat will come around, he is as young as Gordon at the plate and learning to hit in thick air, his bat will come around. See who has the best BA between Buck and Larue and never take one of them out unless they need a rest every 15-20 games. Tell the others to learn their roll, and if they don't like it, bring a fast kid, a power kid, and a situational hitter up from AA or AAA. Quit trying to figure out who the guy is and leave the lineup set for 45-50 games. If the roll players want to be Nancy's about it send them down. You don't need them. Furthermore, what the hell was goin on in Surprise when Bell was supposed to be figuring this stuff out. He is paid to make decisions and he can't take a month to decide on his lineup. Make an executive decision. Be Buddy, don't try to be a buddy.

I would have never imagined ALL of the Royals hitters would go in the tank at once. The hitting seems to have declined in the same proportion that the pitching has improved. Incredible.
