Anyone watching the Royals?

This is ridiculous.

Pena botches up a routine double play, Teahen whiffs on a routine fly ball, Greinke lasts 2/3 of an innning.

At least the Royals have the cheapest ticket prices in MLB.

I couldn't make it past the 2nd inning. I don't think I've watched an entire game since the first series. At some point you'd think they have to get better.

This is for those of you who go to Royals home games this season:

When Jimmy Gobble enters the game, head directly to a concession stand. HE IS AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anytime Gobble is in the game, you can expect basically all his inherited runners to score. He reminds me of Jeremy Affeldt.

The guy needs to be traded as soon as John Bale comes off the DL. Any reasonable trade Dayton Moore can put together for Gobble, he should make it.

Bautista, Affeldt, Burgos, Sisco, Gobble. He's the sole survivor from Ballard's bullpen mistakes.

Gobble sucks, but Grienke, who threw .2 innings with 3 walks, 3 hits, 4 ER, and **49** pitches, is an ace?

I never said he was an ace.

The last three times I've flipped on a Royals game this year when Gobble pitched, the ball was either crushed or scorched for a hit and runs scored.

Can't stand him.

The season is early, only reason Gobble's ERA is low is because he lets inherited runners score. You wait and see, by the end of the season, he'll be in the 5.20 ERA range again. Please Dayton, make something happen once Bale returns.

Isn't Gobble the only lefty pitcher the Royals have? Still...he is pretty worthless...he was a starter a few years ago and show "some" ability...he's gotten worse though!

A play he should have made, but a sinking line drive hit right at you is not a routine fly, especially for a new outfielder like Teahen.

It is sad but their pitching has improved over the off season. What is sad is the merry-ro-round that Buddy Bell calls a lineup. Get your freaking guys in the order. Put the guys with the highest BA in the lineup and tell the others when they get their chance in a late inning pinch hit opportunity that they better get a hit or not get another opportunity unmtil everyone else does. Leave Reggie in left field. Bench the other two turkeys. Leave DeJesus in center and let Teahen take his lumps in right at least he will hit. Never take Gordon out at third, he is way too solid defensively and his bat will come around. He is a ball player. Leave Pena at SS never take him out and get Grudzalik healthy and once that happens never take him out. Let Shealy play first base, his bat will come around, he is as young as Gordon at the plate and learning to hit in thick air, his bat will come around. See who has the best BA between Buck and Larue and never take one of them out unless they need a rest every 15-20 games. Tell the others to learn their roll, and if they don't like it, bring a fast kid, a power kid, and a situational hitter up from AA or AAA. Quit trying to figure out who the guy is and leave the lineup set for 45-50 games. If the roll players want to be Nancy's about it send them down. You don't need them. Furthermore, what the hell was goin on in Surprise when Bell was supposed to be figuring this stuff out. He is paid to make decisions and he can't take a month to decide on his lineup. Make an executive decision. Be Buddy, don't try to be a buddy.

I would have never imagined ALL of the Royals hitters would go in the tank at once. The hitting seems to have declined in the same proportion that the pitching has improved. Incredible.

When will the Royals finally decide to fire Buddy Bell? He's a joke.

Why do the Royals keep bringing in Jimmy Gobble when there are runners on base? All he does is let one to two runs each time he comes into the game.

And what in the world was Bell thinking when he brought Neal Musser into the game in the sixth inning today in his MLB debut when KC was winning 5-4.

Bell's stellar coaching resume:

As a manager for Detroit and Colorado, Bell compiled a 184-277 (.30) record (was fired after two years at each place after horrible third season starts).

2005 season w/ KC : 43-69 (.384)
2006 season w/ KC : 62-100 (.380)
2007 season w/ KC : 5-12 (.29)

At what point do you say enough's enough? There's a reason why he only lasted two years and was fired early in his third season at both Detroit and Colorado.

He's a proven loser.
