Question Bruin,
I've always seen the number 21 tops and now I see some number 1's.
Any significance to the numbers?

That's just what they have in the bookstore. The #21 jerseys were there a few years back when the dance team first started wearing them. That was Ced Bozeman's number. The #1 jerseys are the "default" jersey that the bookstore always makes, so the supply is always plentiful. So I'm pretty sure that they just put the girls in the jerseys that were available for purchase at the store.

What's w/ all the empty seats at Pauley Pav? (I allowed my eyes to stray for a moment from the cheerleaders.)

empty seats because they're not a basketball school...(anymore)...

they had a run with wooden in the 70's, but haven't been a consistent program since...

no crazy/loyal fan base to speak of...
just folks who couldn't get a ticket to the lakers game...

They've been too consistent for my taste the past three seasons. I want to see their run of Final Fours end this year. (Should have ended last year, if the refs hadn't screwed A&M.)
