Is that a prediction or just wishful thinking? I wouldn't blame you if you said both. Tyshawn leaving might be the price we pay for a National Championship (if we are lucky enough to win it) just like Chalmers was the price for the '08 Championship.

some people project him as first round next year. IF we win I would say it is more likely. chalmers, sasha, and DJ all saw their NBA stock rise when we won it all.

I don't know that I would say wishful thinking because it would be nice to have him and the twins all back again.

If we win the title, we could lose 6 players. If we lose in the elite 8 we'll probably lose 2, no more than 3.

My exact thoughts. Second round pick to a good team

Tyshawn, second round? No way. He's a borderline lottery pick with a good March/April.

I don't think Tyshawn will end up leaving after all is said and done. I think he'll be a 3 year guy like Chalmers. From things Chalmers said afterwards, I think he was going to end up entering and staying in the draft even if we had lost to Davidson. He really, really wanted to go. Apparently also wanted to go after his sophomore season but his dad stopped him from doing that. I think he would've left regardless, but if things hadn't gone the way they did (KU making the Final Four and winning it all), people would've been trashing him for that decision.

TT got a lot of hype after this summer and it is going to keep building. I bet the 5* PGs we are recruiting will base their decision on what he does. He has Russell Westbrook like skills that pro scouts go nuts for.

Tyshawn borderline lottery pick?

I don't see that. He could be a much better pro kind of in the mode of a Chalmers, but he doesn't have anything that's going to open scouts eyes for a borderline lottery pick. Unless he ingested some singificantly more skill over the summer.
