Berroa is batting .306, 8 HR, 40 RBI, 25 BB/43 SO (shocking!), .372 OBP in 297 AB in AAA

Pena: .264, 1 HR, 38 RBI, 9 BB/ 61 SO, .282 OBP in 417 AB (the bigs)

Just saying, Berroa still is scheduled to make $4.75 mill next season.

The Royals dropped Berroa from the 40-man roster, I believe.

I think reality is settling in on Pena. His kind of plate disapline usually brings on long slumps durring the season.
The future at SS makes his debut in Idaho Falls on Saturday.

Of course, Pena is a rookie who we didn't expect anything from. He's been a decent addition, but is of course not the long-term solution.

We will never see Berroa in Kansas City again, and for good reason.
